The Council on American-Islamic Relations Minnesota (CAIR-MN) is a grassroots civil rights organization dedicated to empowering American Muslims and marginalized communities throughout Minnesota.
Through strategic legal advocacy, community organizing, and educational programs, CAIR-MN combats Islamophobia, protects civil rights, and promotes justice and equity for all. Recognizing the intersectional challenges faced by Minnesota’s Muslim community particularly its predominant Black immigrant population CAIR-MN actively addresses systemic issues including housing discrimination, economic disparities, workplace inequities, and significant health and educational achievement gaps.
Guided by a commitment to racial justice and community empowerment, CAIR-MN fosters cross-cultural understanding and mobilizes collective action toward building a more equitable and inclusive society.
