Twilight: New Moon

Overall, leaps and bounds better than Twilight.

Biggest Pro: Edward is gone for most of it (Rob Pattinson is just horrible for this part)

Biggest Con: Bella and Edward's chemistry. Is it just me, or do they seem like they hate each other? I think it has got to be his acting that ruins their chemistry for me, because on her own and with Jacob, I really enjoy Kristen Stewart as Bella. When they are on the screen together it makes me want to pull out all of my hair and then eat it.

Other good things: Taylor Lautner - JACOB. YUMMY. I know I know, he's 17. But he looks delicious and he can actually act! The only thing that made me depressed watching him in this movie, was thinking about the fact that he'll be sharing so much screen time with Edward in Eclipse and when it comes to Breaking Dawn they completely ruin his character. But man I can't wait to see that kiss in Eclipse! Same as from the first movie, I love all the "human" supporting characters, Bella's friends, and her Dad Charlie is great. Plus Alice is wonderful. Last but not least, I really enjoyed the wolf pack, I thought for the most part the wolves were very well done and super cool looking. (Something I'd been really unsure of going into the movie).

Other bad things: I was bummed that Dakota fanning did so little. I mean I knew Jane wasn't a very significant part, but I was almost hoping they would've made it bigger just because she was doing it. The sparkling skin was just as awful as in the first movie. And unfortunately the rest of the wolf pack was not nearly as built up and fantastic looking as Jacob.

My conclusion, SO much better than Twilight. At least I didn't find myself looking down at my watch thinking to myself "Oh my goodness, still another hour and a half of this crap to sit through!?" The only sad part is that I have a feeling that this is the peak of these movies for me, because Edward will be back for the next 2.

JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been waiting since January 10th, for it to be July. Why since January 10th you ask? Because that was the day after getting engaged when I figured out roughly when would be the best time to register for gifts. I can't wait to register for gifts!!!!!!!!!!!!

Truth be told however, I've actually been waiting since before January - the waiting for July really began around Oct 08 cause that was when we learned we'd have to wait until July for the 6th Harry Potter installment. This had better be the best HP film by a long shot, because there will be a lot of pissed off fans if they don't deliver after making us wait an extra 8 months!

So seriously, I am sooo excited for a gazillion things this month! First off, the 4th of July... duh! Which I just learned is my fiance's (hee hee, love saying that!) favorite holiday. Again, I know what you're thinking; we've been together for 6 years and I'm just now learning about this?! Well the answer is, Yes. And I'm shocked all the things I can still learn about this man!

Secondly, I am excited because Sienna's 4th birthday is this month and I am going to take her to Water World! She's never been before and I am so super excited to get to do such a fun outing just the two of us! The day after Water World we're doing cake tasting... mmmmm yummy! Then HP6 comes out, then I'm picking out wedding inviations which will happen the same weekend as Lisa's big parties. My girls' bridesmaid dresses should get in around this time. AND THEN, Jason and I will be going camping (yeah right... we'll see) AND FINALLY...... the month will end with a trip out to St. Louis for Jason's cousin's wedding.

FOR THE LAST TIME... YES, I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING; I began that last paragraph with secondly and actually listed up to like eighthly. But I didn't really think I should continue numbering things since I had so many things to list off. But man oh man, I am excited for this month!

Pictures of our Place

Here is our place. I semi-cleaned up for the pictures. It's a bit messy currently. I didn't add pictures of our hall, bathroom, or bedroom, but I figure that that is acceptable.

One of these days I'll more to say on here, I swear it. Lately I'm so unbelievably pooped that I don't have energy to do any of the things I normally love to be doing (taking photos, writing blogs, journaling...)

Exciting things to tell. I think I've officially gotten everyone I need to have hired, hired (once I sign the contracts for our DJ and florist, but we already have them chosen). My wedding dress got it and now (well if I go to my moms house) I can just look at it as much as I want to. We'll be ordering invitations next month, and we're going to begin cake tasting in August. Two things I'm looking forward to!

Oh, and lastly before I go, Jason and I our getting our engagement photo session done on Saturday at the CU campus at University Pond. I'm very excited and just keep crossing my fingers that it'll be sunnier and warmer than it's been the past 2 mornings!
