Nora started preschool pretty early this year. She was able to go to Children's Garden Preschool in our neighborhood. She was so excited to get started!

Family Reunion at the Farm
We were able to attend an awesome reunion with our Cartier family at a farm in Washington. It was a great week to hang out with the family. Becca found this great farm house for everyone to stay. It was so beautiful, and we mostly sat around and talked. Since I was only a month away from my due date, I mostly sat and slept. It was really hot, and I stayed on our bed and kept the fan on me. It was a very relaxing vacation.
This was our bedroom. All 4 of us slept in there. It was plenty big.
Our amazing bathroom in our suite. I could have lived in there.
The conservatory. At least that's what i called it.
The kitchen was huge, with 2 dishwashers and everything we could need for our stay.
The great room.
The game/family room.
There was a lot to do outside.
We were worried one of the kids would fall in the pond, and it only happened once. It was Tate, and just a leg and an arm. Awesome.
This is the view from our room. The doors that opened to balcony.
It was fun to hang out with everyone. I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few.
While we were all in Washington, we took a day trip to the Portland, OR area for a Grandma Ina's celebration of life. It was fun to meet so many of Beau's family. Many of the family told stories of Grandma Ina, and it was fun to get to know her a little. Here is Tate and Great Uncle Duane.
The celebration was held at a cool hotel. The kids all found some fun things to do.
Especially tying Uncle Cameron's shoe laces together.
I think this is almost all the cousins. How fun to have them all together.

Happy Birthday America!
We had a great 4th of July celebration. On the 3rd some friends had invited us to the Oakley Rodeo. We've wanted to go to this awesome rodeo for years (at least I have), so it was great to be able to go. We rode up all together, and stopped at a cool diner for dinner. The rodeo was fun, and the kids had fun as well. We go to see a good firework show afterward, and that was fun too.
Then we headed up to Copperton for the annual foot races. This is one of our favorite traditions. It's fun for the whole family!
That night our neighbors invited our street out to see fireworks. Nora and Tate both loved doing sparklers, until they got burned. We talked to them about how hot they were, but Tate just had to try it out. He burned his two fingers, and went to bed shortly after. Then a while later Nora accidentally touched a hot sparkler stick on her thumb. She went inside and was done for the rest of the night.
This was the only way to get her to go to sleep.
Maybe next year they will be able to participate without getting hurt.

This is the Place
Krista and I decided to take our kids to This Is The Place State Park. It is a fun place where we learn about pioneer history. It is set up like a pioneer village, but has many different things to do. Hailey got to spend the day with us, so that was really fun.
First pony ride for this boy. He was super excited!
Nora was a pro, so she was excited, even though we had to wait in line for a LONG time.
Once Tate got on, he did not enjoy the ride.
The girls both loved it.
Playing on the big ship.
Playing in the school.
Playing in the little tyke village.
Of course the petting zoo.
It was a fun and exhausting day.
