Happy 13th Birthday Dylan

Ok so my oldest kiddo Dylan tuned 13 yesterday. Wow how time flies. I think about how before to long he will be in high school (only 1 1/2 years to go), how he will be driving (Which he is counting the days for that), college, moving out, all his friends that will come and go, and just basically how with a snap of a finger they grow up before your eyes. It makes me sad, but yet happy. I want him to grow up and do everything he wants to do, but I am sad that the time just goes by way to fast. I came across some old photos a few weeks back and it was fun to look at how much he has grown and changed, also funny how much Austin looks like Dylan when He was little.
Well with so much going on and everyone being so sick around here we haven't done a big birthday for him yet, but with my family we always try to make the day fun even if there is no BIG party. So Dylan brought donuts to school for his friends and of course we always have a small cake and dinner of Birthday persons choice. Dylan chose Lasagna with garlic bread from dinner and a yummy Butter Finger Ice Cream Cake.

Here are a few pictures.............

As you can tell by the pictures we had a great time. There was lot's to eat and drink and we spent a lot of the time playing Corn Hole which is a really fun game. Although Dylan and Greg are our un-defeted champs since Thanksgiving, so we all need to work on kicking there butts.

The next day (which was our last) most packed up and pulled out early to beat the traffic home. The few that stayed behind decided to do a small run and play around a little. We stopped at a few mines and some old junk cars to play a little.

New Years Weekend

As most of you know, we have an off road group called HARD LUCK CRAWLERS that we enjoying hanging out with and each and everyone in our group is like family to us. This year our Family went to Johnson Valley (Cougar Buttes) again to bring in the New Year with our family and friends, doing what we all love to do. Camping, Four Wheeling, Quad ridding, and all the fun that goes with the late night Campfires. This year some of our good friends from So Cal Broncos joined us in all the fun. With both Hard Luck Crawlers and our So Cal Brothers, we had about 26 people, 11 rigs, not sure how many quads, a sand rail, and about 7 dogs. So you can imagine how Big our camp was and how much fun we all had.Well if you know about Hard Luck Crawlers then you know why our name is what it is. With all our Hard Luck and people having to work on Monday, we did not get a lot of off roading time in. The kids did get to ride their quads and Danny took me for a ride in his sand rail hauling butt going over 100 MPH which let me tell you was a fun ride, but wasn't enough to scare the wits out of me.
Monday was kind of a slow, but fun day. Bill, Jill, and Chris all had to work so that left me at camp with the boys and no bronco to go off roading in. Thanks to John, Kristy, and Matt, the kids and I got to ride along. We decided to do "The Dozer Trail" or The Hard Luck Trail depending on who you talk to. It's a trail we find and kinda made a few years back. Here are some Pictures....
