Too late...it was planned, executed, done...and the photos looked oh-so-glorious...vintage decor...sunlit rooms full of crafting women...paper garlands draped between trees and swaying ever so slighty in the afternoon fall sun...sigh. I had missed it...I didn't even know it was a possibility...but I wasn't going to let it happen again...
The second it opened in 2010, Jessica and I registered...then we got giddy...WE were going to be a part of such an event THIS time around...our darling faces would adorn THAT sea of busy and bustling women...'cause, hey, we are CREATIVE, too!!
SPARK--all it takes is one little one to get you going...one compliment, one idea, one dream, one reality, one determination, one love, one passion...
Three absurdly gifted women (Liz Kartchner, Margie Romney-Aslett and Rhonna Farrer) are the creative muses we hailed as our leaders...they were the lighters of the sparks...and we were the willing SPARKETTES...Two days, no kids, no cares, lots of glue, plenty of ink, lots of hand motions, lots of laughs, new experiences, new faces, new desires kindled...we took classes, we swapped supplies, we got even more giddy....and, oh yeah, we ATE and ate and ate...so much fun...had such a blast with Jess (wouldn't have been even close to the same without her, actually...) and I feel SPARKED now...I really do...
