C & J have been an item since end of August 2004. It was love at the first sight, but matured over time. (They went from a drama queen and a reckless single dude into an entrepreneurship duo leading their own small company)
One-and-a-half years later C & J tied the knot, it was April 2006.
C & J decided to have a life & career first before thinking about babies and have successfully survived for four years against the annoying questions by old aunts and cousins who asked at each and every family reunion: “When are you going to have a baby?”
A question in which they usually retaliated (meanie in purpose): “Don’t worry Auntie, I think you won’t survive the great age to see the baby.”
On 13 February 2010, C & J found out that a baby is on the way!
This is a pregnancy blog to memorize every single step of the little bun cooking in the oven.

Update 1: End of 2010
A lot of things have happened since this post. Almost a year has gone by. In between, C has undergone two major losses in her life in 2010: two miscarriages, one each in March and in August. She felt down, but luckily J is always there to support her, to make her happy and to keep her strong (and allow her to buy real nice things like Julien MacDonald dresses that she so loves and a million other small-and-pretty things like those monogrammed designer bags, hee hee).
What happened on December 6, 2010
C went to the hospital to meet an obgyn, because she was three weeks late, and the home pregnancy test kit revealed negative on 29 November. She was afraid something could be up…and she didn’t expect the obgyn to say:
“Well, looks like you are pregnant. Here’s the little amniotic sac.”
C was beyond happy she cried like a baby – fortunately the doc was very kind! She told J directly (hail BlackBerry Messenger and cell phone connection) and he was soooooo happy too!
When C got home she showed J the picture from the USG machine with a little pea within its pod.
“It’s still so small!” said J. But he couldn’t keep smiling. The world is suddenly, once again, a happier place and there are only the two of them inside.
Update 2: End of 2012
What was a teeny weeny amniotic sac containing a little pea in its pod has grown into a full term baby, born on 6:30 AM, on Friday 5 August 2011.
Louis is now a year-old toddler, thrilled with everything life has to offer, happily surrounded by a loving set of parents, spoiling grandmas and uncles.
Gifted with a very handsome face, dark blond hair, light hazel eyes with a touch of gold and the sweetest smile in the world and a very nice temperament, Louis is the most perfect child one can ever hope for!
