Ashton came...3 months ago.

Well, we have been super busy with the cutest baby in the world around our house. I have tons of pictures, and they take forever to upload, so have patience people! Anyway, we love our little guy and cannot get enough of him. He came on April 25th. I had a 16 hour labor and 10 minutes of pushing, not bad for a first baby. I feel very fortunate for the whole experience going so well. We had him at LDS hospital and it was great. He was 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches at birth. He had to spend the first 3 days in the NICU for low blood sugars, that was brutal for all of us, but we are glad all is well now. He has grown and changed so much since he came! It seems like every 2 weeks he has different sleeping patterns, but he has been sleeping 6-7 hours at night since he was about 8 weeks old. We have an awesome baby, we know! He is now such a smiley guy and he talks and laughs at us all the time! He has a pretty solid bed-time routine of a bath, story(most nights), and a feeding, then he is out for the night. We haven't quite figured out his napping schedule yet, he is very alert and has a hard time wanting to sleep during the day, but we will figure it out! We have had a few "firsts" since he came. He went on his first camping trip to Fish Lake on the 4th of July, we stayed in a hotel, but it was his first night away from home and he did great! We also had our first camping trip where we actually camped at Strawberry Reservoir, he did great that time too! He has been to many BBQ's and family gatherings. We had his blessing on July 2nd, Trent did a great job with that!
