Platform Role

CatchStat, operated by DAGTech, Inc. ("DAGTech"), is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to facilitate fishing tournament management, registration, scoring, and communications.

CatchStat is not a tournament organizer, host, or sponsor. All decisions regarding tournament rules, scoring disputes, disqualifications, and event operations are the sole responsibility of the respective Tournament Director and their designated staff.

Accuracy of Information & Official Rulings

While CatchStat strives to provide accurate, real-time leaderboard and scoring data, all information displayed on the platform is for informational and entertainment purposes only. System delays, connectivity issues, or data entry errors may cause temporary inaccuracies.

In the event of a discrepancy between CatchStat leaderboards, results, or tournament rules and the official rulings of the Tournament Director, the Tournament Director's physical records and official decisions will always supersede platform data.

CatchStat makes no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information on the platform.

Catch Verification & User-Submitted Media

CatchStat allows tournament participants to upload photos, videos, and catch data through our website and mobile applications. We do not independently verify the authenticity, weight, species identification, or legality of any submitted catch.

  • The validation and verification of all submitted catch data and media is strictly the responsibility of the Tournament Director.
  • CatchStat does not make judgments on catch eligibility, scoring disputes, or disqualification decisions.
  • User-submitted content is displayed as-provided and does not constitute an endorsement or verification by CatchStat.

Safety & Assumption of Risk

Fishing, boating, and outdoor recreational activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, and waterway hazards.

CatchStat assumes no liability for the safety of tournament participants, spectators, or any other individuals. Weather alerts or condition updates displayed on the platform are provided for informational convenience only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of safety information. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should exercise appropriate judgment at all times.

Financial & Tax

CatchStat does not guarantee the fulfillment of tournament prize pools or payouts. All entry fees, prize distributions, refunds, and associated tax liabilities on winnings are handled directly between the participant and the tournament organizer.

  • Payment transactions are processed through independent third-party payment gateways. CatchStat does not store full credit card information on its servers.
  • Disputes regarding entry fees, refunds, or prize payouts should be directed to the respective Tournament Director.
  • Participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on tournament winnings.
