"The first time we got to see George’s art was at the Downers Grove Fine Arts Festival in 2016. My wife and I had just returned from Europe where we had visited the Rijksmusueum in Amsterdam. George’s paintings closely reminded us of the Realism style of the Dutch Masters which we greatly enjoy.  The images George creates, painted in oil, capture what the camera cannot: reflection, focus, depth, and contrast that exist in those rare moments when life’s simplest moments come to be understood for the beauty they possess. Needless to say we feel fortunate to own three of his fine works and hope to own more."
