Gingerbread Village

Big Boy on a Two-Wheeler

Asher is riding a bike without training wheels.

Yes, his mom taught him to ride on the street -but look at all that safety gear!

Farmland Adventures

We visited a local corn maze this year.

There was so much to do there!
This is Audrey at the hay maze.

The kids all had pony rides, watched pig races,
feed farm animals, played with friends,
and even enjoyed a hay ride!

We plan to go back next year.

Asher's First Day of Kindergarten

Asher was so excited to start school that
he didn't even mind wearing school uniform.

Asher loves his momma.  We are
not sure who will have more trouble
adjusting to him being gone during the day,
but it probably will be his momma!

at Grace Lutheran School.
We are convinced that Mrs. Gartner
is the very best Kindergarten teacher!

A Peek at our Little Fishes

Audrey is quite the swimmer! She even flips off diving boards at friends' pools.

 
Asher has very little fear in the water since his swim lessons. Judah and mom both tried to talk him out of the high dive, but after doing it once he was hooked!

Superboys Pizza

The children launched their first business this week.  They have their own website -complete with commercials! "Like" them at www.facebook.com/superboyspizza.  It was our first homeschool learning project - and they learned a lot!  Working is hard work - and pizza sales are not big money makers.

Our neighborhood was very supportive of the Superboys.

The kids spent several days passing out menus in our neighborhood.
The sch-pill went something like this.
Judah:  "Hello!  We are the Superboys and we are your neighbors..." (awkward pause)
Neighbor:  "okay..."
Judah:  "We'd like to give you this menu." (Looks at Audrey, who gives menu from bag)
Asher, pen in hand: "Would you like to order now or call us?"

The boys were eager to help assemble the pizzas.

They were also in charge of writing what kind of pizza was in
the "box," labeling who the pizza was for, and signing their name.

We got to meet some very sweet neighbors through this experience.

A portion of the profits will go to support three children in Africa through OneEgg.

Audrey Goes to the Dentist

Audrey is finally old enough to see Ms. Julie.

She did a great job listening and obeying.

Audrey gives this experience a thumbs up!

Swim Lessons

All three kids had swim lessons this week. 

Judah has almost mastered diving.

Audrey did very well! She now loves swimming with
her head underwater, but that stresses Mommy out. 

Asher began the week in the Beginners Level 1, but was
promoted to Level 2 on Thursday.  He even passed
a swim test at the public pool allowing him to jump
off the diving board!

Weekend in the City!

Our family had a fun time in Oklahoma City 
over Memorial Day weekend.

The kids got to be Astronauts at the Oklahoma Science Museum.

We enjoyed "dessert" at Krispy Kreme after dinner.

We spent Saturday at the zoo.

God blessed us with a nice, cool, overcast 
day: perfect weather for being at the zoo.

Judah may have loved these animals
more than the real ones.

2 days in Oklahoma City + 4 hour car drive = 3 sleeping kids!
