the last 2 1/2 months....

The last 2 1/2 months have been the craziest/busiest time but the best time:)
my cousin Maya came to meet Libby:) it was so fun to have her here visiting and I can't wait until she comes back!

my daddy came to meet Libby and stay with us for a couple days! It was the best to have him here:)

Image great grandma Beatriz came from Brazil and helped me out for over a month! It was the BEST!! I sure miss hanging out with her...good thing we have skype:)

ImageWe feel so blessed to have had so many family members and friends come by to help with dinners and visit Libby. Now all our guests have gone and Chad and I are figuring out parenthood:) I love being a mom to my sweet girl Libby! She is so great!!
Now we are off to Hawaii with Libby and hopefully she does well on the plane:) wish us luck!

Libby's arrival :)

My water broke at 1:30 am on January 20th. Chad and I were freaking out since we weren't expecting it at all. I finished getting my stuff ready, showered and then we headed to the hospital. We were checked in by 3 am and my mom came and met us there. I didn't have any contractions so they started me on Pitocin and by 9:30 am i was dilated to a 2 and I was at a 2 forever! Me, chad, my mom, sisters and sarah were hanging out in the room watching a He's Just Not That Into You and taking naps. I was feeling so great except that I was STARVING!!! I have never been so hungry in my life....I wasn't able to eat anything all day...only ice chips :(
By 3pm I was at dilated to a 5 and by 4pm I was dilated to a 9 and all of a sudden I was at a 10 and my nurse called Dr. Terry to come in and by 5pm I was starting to push.

Seriously the most amazing experience in my life!
