Family Vacation in St. George

For Labor Day my WHOLE family met up in St. George and stayed at my Aunt Rhonda's house.

I was lucky enough and got 6 days off work and rode down with my parents Wednesday night. My parents were so nice and got us tickets to see Aladdin at the Tuacahn that night!!

I seriously love plays/musicals and Aladdin was AMAZING!!!

On Thursday my parents and I went golfing at Sky Mountain.

The views are just breath-taking!!!

For Chad's birthday we went to Sand Hollow Golf Course.

I love the red rock and gorgeous green grass.


There's nothing like golfing with your best friend and family!!

My parents spoiled all of us kids and their spouses to go see Hairspray at the Tuacahn.

I was in Heaven!!! :)

We had so much fun!! We might just make it a family tradition!! I wish I took more pictures of cute Mason and Brinley, but it just went by so fast. I LOVE my family!!!

4 Years Already!!!

On August 2, yes I know I'm behind, we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. Man, it seems like yesterday we were just married. To celebrate, Chad surprised me with reservations to the Melting Pot!!! I have always wanted to go, and it didn't disappoint.

The lighting wasn't the best, but we atleast got some pictures.

I'm so lucky to be married to Chad! He's the best and I love him more and more each day!!!

What We've Been Up To

This past Friday we went with Chad's parents to the RSL game vs Vancouver White Caps. This was only our second time going and Chad's parents' first time. It was lots of fun!!!

Chad took 2 days off work to spread 3 dump truck loads of compost in our backyard. These pictures don't do it justice. He was ABSOLUTELY filthy. He is a die-hard and worked for about 12 hours in the 100+ degree weather for 1 day and another 7 hours the other day.

Our front yard was growing out of control. It was at least 8 inches long!!!

Chad's first time mowing the lawn!! It was Christmas in July for him!!!

Just about every other weekend we have gone to Delta to boat, golf, and ski. This year Claire and Landon joined in on the fun!!!

Raquel and her family were able to visit for a couple of weeks. We weren't really good at taking pictures, but I had to get at least one with my adorable niece and nephew!! I just love them so much!!!

My cousin Misty and her family have horses. Both of their female horses had colts. They were so cute to see!!

My first time EVER riding a horse!! I was super nervous. I only lasted about 10 minutes, but I at least tried it right?!!

TrIp tO aRiZoNa

For my birthday Chad surprised me with a trip to Arizona!!!! I was TOTALLY shocked and couldn't believe I got to spend a whole week with Raquel, Chase, and the kiddos!!!

Both Mason and Brinley love being outside and absolutely LOVE swinging!!

Raquel and I went to a movie and even got pedicures. Raquel's turned out a lot better than mine. :(

Mason is getting so big!! He always has such cute clothes too!!!

It was fun to see Brinley crawling all around. She is such a happy baby and is very busy.

With it being over 100 degrees everyday we had to keep cool somehow. We loved swimming!!

Mason LOVES LOVES LOVES trains (choo choos)!!! We played with them on the tile everyday.  Mason is so cute and always says, "All aboard!"

Chase found a fun park for us all to go to. Mason was SO happy there was a train that we got to ride around the park. There was even a bridge and tunnel on the ride!!!

The week went by WAY too fast. Thanks again Raquel and Chase for letting me come stay with you guys and a SPECIAL thanks to Chad for giving me such a GREAT present!!!! I can't wait to see them again already!!!!

My Birthday!!!

Since my birthday was on the Wednesday after Memorial Weekend, I had a week long birthday celebration!! We first celebrated with Chad's family in Delta. I was horrible at taking pictures, but Chad was sweet and got 2 different kinds of ice cream cakes. They were delicious!!! Then, thanks to Cody and Natalie for telling us about the birthday club, we went to Tucanos for my birthday dinner!!!

Chad and I got stuffed pretty quick, but it was amazing!!! I'm also sporting my cute shirt and earrings Raquel and her family gave me for my birthday.

Then, my sweet and caring visiting teachers gave me these gourmet cupcakes!! Words can't describe how good they were. Mmmmm!!



It's always fun to get cards in the mail, texts, etc on your birthday. I have the best family and friends and I enjoyed my day!!!!

DiSnEyLaNd FaMiLy VaCaTiOn

We just got back from a WONDERFUL trip to Disneyland!!!! Raquel, Chase, Mason, and Brinley were nice enough to let Chad, my parents, and me tag along with them. My parents haven't been to Disneyland in about 15 years, so it was fun to hear them reminisce about the old times and that California Adventure is in the old parking lot.

We (my parents and Chad and I) arrived to LA Thursday afternoon. Since we had some time to kill we drove to the Santa Monica Pier, saw the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theatre, the Los Angeles Temple, and took the Mulholland Drive scenic loop.

The temple was HUGE and beautiful!!

Downtown Disney was cool too!! The Lego store had some neat displays outside. Grandpa and Mason had to pose in front of Buzz and Woody.

Waiting in line for Star Tours. It was definitely not worth the wait. It made me SO sick that I even had to close my eyes during the ride. I wasn't a fan!
