Trading takes place in a simulated environment, meaning profits during the simulated experience are virtual.

However, once you successfully complete all simulation stages and enter the Payout stage, your performance determines real, withdrawable profit payouts — provided you meet all rules and conditions.

No. Accounts terminated for violating the Rules and Conditions are permanently closed, and any funds within them are forfeited.

This is treated as a breach of contract under the program’s terms.

No. Payout stage accounts are fixed once issued and cannot be reloaded with additional funds. After each withdrawal, the account balance will reset to its original virtual capital amount.

Be sure to review all available add-on options (such as profit split boosters or plan upgrades) before completing your purchase.

Add-ons cannot be added after checkout or once your account has been created.

Account ownership refers to the person authorised to use the trading account and who registered with accurate, personal details. All accounts must be created in your own name.

We use your email to share account updates, payouts, and important notifications. It’s essential to register a valid email address to stay up to date.

Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in our simulated trading experience.

Yes. All trading accounts must be registered under your legal name for compliance and security purposes.

Accounts are activated almost immediately after purchase. Please allow up to one hour for activation.

How many accounts can I trade at once?
There’s no limit to the number of accounts you can open. However, the combined total value of all active accounts must not exceed USD $600,000.

You can update your password anytime, but your login name cannot be changed.

Please contact support so we can verify your identity, update your email, and register a new one.
Note: Always update your contact details before entering the Payout Phase.

No. Clients are strictly prohibited from creating multiple profiles under different email addresses or using the same IP address to register more than one user.

Such activity violates our fair use policy and may result in disqualification and account termination.

Credentials are typically sent within 24 hours of passing. If you haven’t received them, please reach out to support so we can resolve the issue.

No. There are no maximum trading day requirements, so you can trade at your own pace and take as much time as you need to reach your goals.

Yes, inactivity rules apply. If no trades are placed for 30 consecutive days, your account will be terminated.

No. There’s no minimum number of trades required. However, you must meet the minimum trading day requirement during your program to qualify for progression or withdrawal.

Yes. Our platform supports 24/7 trading, allowing you to manage positions and explore opportunities at any time, including weekends.

Yes, swing trading is permitted.

Trades opened within a 30-second window are treated as one position. Any partial closures are counted as a single trade once the final position closes.

You can open up to 10 simultaneous trades at once.

The maximum volume limit depends on the instrument type:

-Forex: Up to 40 lots per trade
-Commodities: Up to 10 lots per trade
-Indices: Up to 20 lots per trade

These limits ensure stable platform performance and help maintain consistent trading conditions across all users.

These rules are in place to maintain fair and balanced trading behaviour throughout the Payout Phase.

Daily Profit Distribution: Profits earned on any single calendar day can contribute up to the following maximum percentages of the total payout:

-One Phase: 25%
-Two Phase: 30%

Note: Trades opened within a 30-second window are grouped as one position. Any partial closures are combined into a single entry on the day the trade is fully closed.

To promote consistent trading habits, there’s a limit to how much profit can be generated on a single trading day during the Payout Phase.

-One Phase: Up to 25% of total payout
-Two Phase: Up to 30% of total payout

Note: Profits from partial trade closures are consolidated into a single entry on the final day of closure for payout calculation.

Copy trading or mirroring another person’s trades in real time without your own input is strictly prohibited.

Our Risk Team continuously monitors all accounts — if any breach occurs, your account will be terminated, and you’ll be notified.

Copy trading from other traders’ accounts is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

However, you are allowed to copy trades between your own accounts, such as from your personal account to your Eightcap Challenge account — provided all accounts are registered under the same email address.

Copy trading undermines skill development, accountability, and fair play. We prioritise independent decision-making and strategic trading approaches that promote long-term success.

If copy trading is detected, it may result in:

-Removal of profits earned during the breach, or
-Account termination if the breach is deemed severe.

You’ll receive an email with details of the violation and next steps.

We use automated risk management tools to detect copy trading. These systems identify when trades from different users open and close positions simultaneously on the same instrument.

If detected, our Risk Team will contact you for verification.

Trading during major news events is restricted. You cannot place trades 10 minutes before or after high-impact events.
Please refer to the FXStreet Calendar for upcoming events.

This will be considered a soft breach, which leads to a warning and the loss of any profits made from those trades. Your account will remain active.

We recommend reviewing the trading rules regularly to avoid future breaches.

You can use Expert Advisors (EAs) and Indicators, but the following strategies are strictly prohibited:

To ensure a fair trading environment, social trading tools are not permitted on our platform.

No. Traders cannot hedge between the same or different accounts.

Hedging is defined as using the same or different accounts to open positions that create offsetting or opposing exposure to the same underlying denominated assets, either directly or indirectly, across the same or different instruments, with identical or similar trade volumes.

This includes (but is not limited to):

Taking positions that result in long and short exposure to the same currency or asset through different pairs (e.g. long EURUSD and long USDJPY, which both create opposing USD exposure).

Holding positions designed to offset market risk through correlated instruments (e.g. long SPX500 and long VIX).

No. Stock trading is not currently available on our platform.

We do not currently support options trading. However, we are always exploring ways to expand our offerings, so stay tuned for updates through our social channels.

No. For security and compliance reasons, you must access your trading account from the same IP address. Using multiple IPs or locations may result in restrictions or suspension.

Yes, but you must follow the guidelines below and notify support before requesting a withdrawal.

VPN Guidelines

-Keep your country setting consistent to avoid triggering account or security issues.

VPS Guidelines
-Use a private VPS only. Avoid shared or group trading setups.

Accounts may be suspended or reset due to a breach of rules or conditions.

While technically possible, we strongly advise pausing all trading until our Risk Team has reviewed your case. Trading during this period can fluctuate your balance, which may impact your final profit calculation or your future eligibility.

No. When an account is breached, the trading platform is automatically restricted. You will not be able to open new positions.

Rules are applied consistently — intentional or not, breaches are treated seriously to ensure fairness for all traders.

We distinguish between soft and hard breaches:

-Soft Breach: Minor violations (e.g. trading during restricted news times). You’ll receive a warning, and your account remains open.
-Hard Breach: Major violations (e.g. prohibited trading strategies) that lead to immediate account closure and loss of any profits earned.

We encourage traders to review the Rules and Conditions carefully to avoid mistakes.

No. Account closures are final, and associated fees are non-refundable.

Accounts cannot be merged, even if you have multiple with us.
If you’ve purchased or won an additional account, it will remain separate.

No. Trading accounts must be operated solely by the account owner. Allowing another person or third party to trade on your behalf is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

Your equity is updated in the dashboard in real-time or at regular intervals, depending on the platform's monitoring system. This ensures you always have an accurate view of your equity and drawdown status.

If your losses surpass either the Maximum Daily Drawdown or the Maximum Total Drawdown, your trading account will be permanently closed.

Floating drawdown refers to the unrealized loss on active trades at any given time. It is monitored by calculating the difference between the highest equity achieved and the current equity, including open trades. The drawdown must stay within the specified limits to comply with rules.

The Daily Drawdown limit is a percentage of the previous day's balance snapshot, calculated using the formula below (Balance-Based Daily Drawdown):

Previous Day's Balance × Limit / 100. If the equity loss during the day exceeds this limit, the account will be breached.

Example: If the previous day's balance was $104,000 and the limit is 5%, then:
($104,000 × 5) / 100 = $5,200. The account will breach if the equity drops below $98,800 ($104,000 - $5,200).

The Max Drawdown is a fixed percentage of the initial balance, calculated as:

Initial Balance × Limit% / 100, setting the maximum allowable loss in account value (balance or equity).

If the account balance/equity drops below this limit determined by the lowest point the account has reached, the account will be breached and terminated.

We keep a close eye on your PnL (profit and loss) to ensure you're sticking to our trading conditions. Here’s why monitoring drawdown is key:

-Risk management – keeps your trades under control and avoids any unexpected surprises.
-Performance evaluation – to get a sense of your trading performance and long-term potential.
-Long-term viability – monitoring helps us make sure you're set up to succeed over time.

Due to risk and compliance requirements, clients cannot change their registered email address. If you need to use a new one, please contact support team to discuss your options.

If you need to update your personal details, here’s what to do:

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Log in with your credentials.
3. Navigate to Profile Settings under your profile icon in the top-right corner.
4. Update your details.

To reset your password:

1. Log in to your Trader Dashboard.
2. Go to your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Change Password and update your details.

Currently, it’s not possible to permanently remove accounts from your Dashboard. However, you can hide inactive accounts:

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Locate the top-left corner of the screen.
3. Toggle the Active Only switch on or off as needed.

Need help generating your Trading Statement? Let’s walk through it step by step:

1. Go to the ""Report"" Section on the left-hand menu of the Dashboard.
2. Select a Time Range: You can either use the ""From"" and ""To"" calendar icons to choose your dates, or select any of the available options (This month, this week, previous month, or previous week).
3. Choose your timezone from the dropdown. You can select either UTC+0 or the local timezone.
4. When you are ready, click ""Generate PDF"".
5. A print screen will pop up. Set the destination to ""Save as PDF"" to download your statement.

Once you’ve completed your challenge, your certificate will be sent to your email (please check your spam folder).

Follow these simple steps if you can't find the certificate in your inbox:

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Find the ‘Correspondence’ section on the left-hand column of the Dashboard.
3. Access your certificates on the right-side of the ‘Correspondence’ section.
4. Click on your certificate, then download it to your device.

Contact our support team if you can't find the certificates.

Yes. Account balances update automatically once a trade closes to reflect your realised profits or losses.

Trades made on the platform should automatically sync with your Dashboard. If your trades aren’t appearing, please:

- Check your internet connection.
- Wait a minute or two for the data to sync.

You can trade using MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5) or TradeLocker.

It offers the same features as the desktop version, allowing you to monitor positions, execute trades, and manage your account on the go.

Yes. Our platform provides live updates of your account balance and margin in real time.

You’ll see:

-Equity Balance: Updates dynamically as your account balance changes during trades.
-Available Margin: Shows how much margin remains available for new positions.
-Unrealised Profit/Loss: Displays ongoing gains or losses for your open trades.

After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email with your trading platform login details.
The email will also include a link to download the platform.

Once installed:

1.Open the platform.
2.Enter the login details provided in your email.
3.Select the correct server and start trading.

Double-check that:

-You’ve entered your credentials correctly.
-You’ve selected the correct server listed in your email.
-There are no blank spaces or formatting errors in your login details.

Follow these steps to access your account on MetaTrader 4 (MT4):

MT4 Desktop
1. Open the MT4 application.
2. Go to the File menu and select "Open an Account".
3. In the new window, select EightcapLtd-Real2 and click "Next". If you don't see it, click "Add new broker", type your specific Server Name and click "Scan". Once your server appears in the list, select it and click "Next".
4. Select the "Existing Account Option" and enter your credentials.
5. Click "Finish". You are successfully logged in when you see the live prices updating.

MT4 Mobile
1. Open the MT4 application
2. Go to Settings tab and select “New Account”
3. Select Login to an existing account
4. Search EightcapLtd-Real2 in the “Enter company or server name” bar and select it
5. Carefully copy and paste your platform Login and Password into the correct fields. Important: Ensure no blank spaces are copied with your details.
6. Toggle "Save password" on for future convenience and click "Sign In". You are successfully logged in when you see live prices updating.

Our simulated trading environment allows you to trade across multiple asset classes, including:

-Forex

-US Stocks (Only DTC challenges)

Each instrument type provides a realistic market experience designed to help you test and refine your trading strategies under simulated live conditions.

To find all tradeable instruments on the MetaTrader platform, right-click within the market watch and select ""Show all"". You can then scroll within the market watch to see all available instruments.
Please note that on MT4, plain Forex is not tradeable; you must trade the suffix version.

-On MT4 mobile, to add symbols, go to the Quotes tab and click the + in the top right corner.
-On MT5 mobile, to add symbols, open the Quotes tab and use the search bar to view all available symbols.

You can view a detailed breakdown of all commissions and swap fees directly in your Dashboard.

Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Dashboard using your credentials.
2. Go to the Recent Trade History section.
3. Open Commissions and Swap Fees to review all applicable charges for your trades.

You can view live spreads for all instruments directly in the trading platform.

The swap fee is charged (or earned) for keeping a position open overnight. It’s essentially an interest fee that applies after midnight server time.

You can hold trades for as long as you wish, provided you remain compliant with all our trading rules.

-For Forex, Indices and Commodities:
Lots (Volume) x Swap Rate = Swap per night (in quote/profit currency)

-For Crypto and Stocks:
(Lots (Volume) x EOD price x Swap Rate / 100 )/ 360 = Swap per night (in quote/profit currency)

-Triple swap:
Forex and Metals on Wednesday
All else on Friday

Your leverage for the One Phase and Two Phase challenges is:

There are several reasons why you might be unable to open or close positions on the trading platform:

-Planned Maintenance or Server Outage: Check our social media, email updates, or your trading dashboard for announcements about scheduled maintenance.
-Market Closed: Trading is unavailable outside market hours. Right-click the instrument in your platform to view trading times and session details.
-Instrument in “Close Only” Mode: You can close existing positions but not open new ones while this mode is active.
-Simulation or Payout Phase Failure: Your account may be suspended if a rule violation has occurred.
-Insufficient Margin: You don’t have enough available margin to open new trades. Check your margin requirements in the trading platform.

Slippage happens when your trade executes at a price different from what you anticipated, typically during fast-moving markets.

Sometimes this results in a better price, sometimes worse. While it can be frustrating, it’s a standard aspect of live market simulation and risk management.

Slippage occurs when an order is filled at a different price than expected. It’s a normal part of trading, especially during periods of high volatility or low liquidity.

You can reduce slippage by:

-Using limit orders instead of market orders.
-Monitoring market conditions closely.
-Managing risk through stop-loss and take-profit levels.

Dashboard:
You can click on the Language toggle located at the top right of the dashboard and select your preferred language.

MT5 / MT4:
Click "View" -> "Languages" located at the top left of the trading platform.

TradeLocker:
Click ""Settings"" (via cog logo bottom left) -> Select language, located above 'Log Out'

KYC verification is required for any withdrawal requests exceeding $1,000 to maintain security, protect users, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Scenario 1:

1st Withdrawal Request: If you request $400, no KYC verification is required.

2nd Withdrawal Request: If you request $700, KYC verification will be required. This is because the total of your withdrawals will now be $1,100, which exceeds the $1,000 threshold.

Scenario 2:

1st Withdrawal Request: If you request $400, no KYC verification is required.

2nd Withdrawal Request: If you request another $400, no KYC verification is required. The total withdrawal will be $800, which is below the $1,000 threshold.

KYC (Know Your Customer) is the process of verifying your identity using official documents such as an ID and proof of address. It’s designed to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

KYC must be completed when your total (cumulative) payouts exceed $1,000.

You can complete KYC verification directly from your Dashboard. Here’s how:

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Click Profile Settings under your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Locate the KYC Verification section.
4. Confirm the Terms and Conditions.
5. Upload all required documents.

You can upload identity documents issued from another country as long as you are a legal resident of that country.

Verification is usually quick — it typically takes around 5 minutes, but depending on document quality and system checks, it may take 1–5 days.

To request a payout:

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Go to the Payouts section and click Request Payout.
3. Confirm your request.
4. Wait for confirmation from our team.

You can also request a payout from the Dashboard section, where the Payout option will be available if your account is on the Payout stage.

Please note:
You can only withdraw fully earned profit. Partial payouts are not supported.

One Phase and Two Phase challenges:
After a payout request is approved, your account balance will reset to the initial simulated amount for the next cycle.

If you experience a soft breach (for example, your profits are below the minimum payout threshold), the remaining funds are returned to the balance, and the payout request is declined.

The minimum payout amount is $100 after the profit split. The system first calculates your payout amount by applying the profit share to your profit.

Example: If your profit split is 80%, you’ll need at least $125 in your account to meet the minimum threshold.

If your balance is between $1 and $100 after the split, the payout request will be declined, and the amount will remain in your account.

Please note: For any payout amount under $100 USD, withdrawals are only available via cryptocurrency.
Ensure that you set up your payment method when requesting a payout.

The payout waiting period is 14 days when you are on the Payout stage. You can request a payout once you’ve completed all requirements and KYC verification (if required).

You can request an Early payout when purchasing the Earlier Payout Add-on, which enables a 7-day waiting period.

Note that inactivity and consistency rules still apply, so ensure you maintain consistent trading activity.

To update or add a payment method:

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Click Profile Settings under your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Go to the Payment Methods section and update your details.

Note: You cannot make changes while a payout request is in progress.

For bank wire transfers, payouts are made in USD.

You can also choose from the following cryptocurrency options: USDT TRC20, USDT ERC20, or BTC.

Yes. For international bank wire transfers, you’ll need to provide your IBAN or SWIFT code.

If you’re unsure whether your bank accepts international payments, please check with your financial institution before submitting the payout request.

You’ll receive an 80% profit share as standard.

You can also include an add-on at checkout to increase your profit share to 90%.

The profit cap is the maximum profit amount you can earn before the profit split is applied.

At Eightcap Challenges, the profit cap is 5% of your initial balance on the One Phase, for your first three approved payouts. There is no profit cap on the Two Phase.

Please note:
If there are no breaches of rules or conditions, the profit cap defines the maximum payout amount you are eligible to receive for that trading cycle.

Payouts are typically processed within 2 business days.

Your payout certificate confirms your withdrawal request has been approved by our Risk Team. The payout itself is processed within 1-2 business days.

For international bank transfers, please allow 4-5 business days (or potentially longer) for the funds to reflect in your account after processing (this depends on your financial institution).

Payouts are processed on business days only. If a request is submitted on a weekend or public holiday, it will be processed on the next available business day.

If your payout has not been processed after 10 business days, please contact our support team.

Differences can occur for several reasons:

- The payout reflects the agreed profit share percentage.
- Applicable fees (such as payout transaction fee of $50 for bank transfers or 1% for crypto withdrawals) were deducted.

- Crypto: 1% of the withdrawal amount.
- Bank Wire: A flat $50 fee per transaction.

Yes. You can track the status of your payouts — including whether they’re pending, approved, cancelled, or declined — directly in your Dashboard. You’ll also receive email notifications for all updates.

No. You can only have one active payout request at a time. Once the current request is approved, you can submit another.

No. Trading is paused while your payout request is under review to ensure your balance remains accurate. Once the payout is finalized, your account will automatically reopen for trading.

While your payout is being reviewed, trading is temporarily disabled. This allows our Risk Team to verify your profit balance and prevent discrepancies during payout processing. Once your request is approved, trading access will automatically resume.

Payouts are reviewed by our Risk Team. If yours was declined, the specific reason will be provided in an email. Please check your inbox and spam folder.
