A couple weeks ago we had Chasey's cousin Hannah and her family come to visit us! It was so much fun having them here, and so good to get to know her better. Hannah and Ray just had a baby in July, Aubrey. She is so stinkin cute, and made me a little baby hungry! That quickly changed when Rylee wanted nothing to do with Aubrey. She didn't want to look at her, be near her, take her picture with her, nothing! by the last day she liked her though. I just think a sibling is going to have to wait a little bit!
Isn't it funny how when you live close to something you never do it. Things that people travel thousands of miles to do? When I lived in NY my bosses had hardly ever been to the city. They told me I had been more times then they had. When we go to Florida people ask us why we go to the beach so much? I guess its what you don't have that you want to do. Hannah and Ray wanted to go to the mountains. I guess I just figure they are always there, so why go? The 5 days they were here we went 3 times. It was so much fun, and the canyons are so beautiful this time of year. The other fun thing we did a few times was eat at Cafe Rio. Yes, they fell in love with it. Who doesn't though?! It was seriously one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. I cant wait for them to come out again!!!
DAY 1
Hannah and Ray got in late, so they didn't get to our house until almost midnight. We all had a bowl of cereal, watched some Office and went to bed.
Day 2
Chasey had to work, so the rest of us got up and headed over to Provo. We had lunch at Cafe Rio, did some shopping at Quicksilver Outlet, took naps, watched some Kardashines, and waited for Chase to get home. That night we took them up to Dad and Karen's to ride the 4-wheelers. We went up to the Davis Ranch and fished at the lake. It was a gorgeous night and Ray and Hannah loved being up there. We saw a ton of deer on the way up that let us get pretty close to them. Ray was in Heaven. He really wanted to see an elk, but of course we never saw one. We took them above the ranch to a little overlook spot. You can see all of the valley from up there. Its so pretty, I don't know why we don't go up more?! That night we got pizza watched more Office and went to bed.

We were coming back from my dads house and we saw a few deer in his backyard, as we got closer though deer just started popping up left and right. They had been laying down in the fields. It was pretty cool to see.

DAY 3
We got up Saturday and just hung out for the morning. Chase made breakfast for everyone. I would have, oh but wait I cant cook. I tried to get Rylee to play with Aubrey but it just wasn't happening. I pulled out one of Ry's old toys she had when she was just little. Its a mat that you lay on and there are toys that hang down from it. I put Aubrey on it, and about two seconds into it Rylee had a total melt down. She threw her self on the ground, rolled around, cried. She did not want Aubrey on that mat. I took Aubrey off and Ry walked over and started playing on it. As soon as Ray took Aubrey into the other room Rylee picked it up folded it and threw it. She only wanted it cause Aubrey was on it. So, she's spoiled... sue me! We got everyone ready and headed up Provo Canyon. We stopped at Squaw Peak and then headed over to Bridal Veil.

While we were up there I saw people and a few families who had signed the rock wall. One family traced someones hand and wrote inside of it, so I copied them. Ill probably go to jail or get fined now, but its total worth the memory, right?

This picture kills me. Look closely and you can see Ry holding leaves. She would get a leaf in each hand and then run with her arms open really wild. It was hilarious. As you can tell Chasey was dying!

Day 4
Sunday Chase and I slept through church... oops. We decided to go up Payson Canyon and hike the Grotto. Its such a fun and easy hike, and the canyon was gorgeous!

We were hiking up to the Grotto and my mom and her "friend" were coming down. Random! It was fun to see her and Les. Rylee didn't want her to go after we stopped to talk to them for a minute.

So, Chase wasn't catching any fish where he was at. I told him to go over on the diving board, but of course he didn't listen to me. I ended up going over there and caught more fish then all of them.
He finally listened... too bad he didn't catch anything.

Day 5
Ray, Hannah, and Aubrey went to Moab for the day. I went to the dentist, Ry went to Aunt Katie's, and Chasey spent the afternoon in the hospital with a injured hand that ended up not being broken!. It was also Hannah's birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! That night we had Cafe Rio for Hannah's birthday and then we all crashed!
Day 6
The Lectures leave us to go back to Georgia... boooo!
We got up early to say bye to them, and then went back to bed. It was a blast having them here, and love them so much!!! Thanks for spending your birthday with us Hannah!!!
