Back to Normal...?

Well we are back from South Florida. It has been a whirlwind that's for sure!
My baby sister is now married! She is still on her honeymoon - a Mediterranean cruise. So jealous!

Right after the wedding, we headed up to Disney for some fun with our niece and nephew before they headed back up to North Carolina.

Bacheloretting in the Florida Keys

We're back! Oh man is it hard to get back to normal after being in the Keys...
We had so much fun though!

 I had a great time getting to know Brittany's friends from college. I really can't wait to spend time with them again. I think we should make this an annual trip ;)


Here are a few of us, about to head out. Brittany's Maid of Honor and childhood friend, Angela, came all the way from California.

The next day, after some exploring and scavenger hunting, we went on a sunset cruise in Marathon. We started off our celebration with some champagne :)

We had dinner and stayed up late talking girl talk. I can't wait to go back. Next up - Wedding Day!!

Lemons Galore!

I've been trying to use up some of these lemons from Brittany's bridal shower. Problem is, a little bit of lemon goes a long way!
I have made lemon chicken, a body scrub and some lemon brownies. I've also been adding slices to my water.


I used raw sugar for the scrub. It gave it a darker look but other than that it's fabulous!

 One for the kitchen.

 One for the bathroom.

 I got the recipe for these brownies on pinterest somewhere. Very yummy.

And I just have a few more lemons to use up...any ideas? ;)
