January Wrapup

I cant believe it is 2013.  January came and went and that is a good thing because it was stinkin cold.  We did get to go out and play in the snow a little.  The kids love getting pulled behind the 4-wheeler.

Hadlee continues to stay busy with dance.  She has class 2x a week and then has been learning a small group and a solo also.  She had Art with Heart up in SL.  She did great.

She also had Dance Attack and was able to go and learn a bunch of cool dances for 2 days.

This is her actually sleeping one day when she stayed home from school sick.  She never takes naps.

Hanks had wrestling practice twice a week and a tournament every weekend. He loves it.

Colby took him skiing for the first time.  He loved it.

Ivy continues to be a little character.  She started going on the toilet but is really hit or miss.

She takes dance class once a week and loves it.

She is always doing the funniest things and pulls the weirdest faces.

Merrill turned 9 months and is everywhere. 

Colby has been coming home on weekends and we love it.  He doesn't get home till late on Friday nights and has to leave right after church on Sundays but it is great.

I love these little stinks.

The end of January was again filled with snow so we went out and played some more.

Recent Happenings.

I am so far behind on my blog that it makes it seem impossible to catch it up.  I am going to do it, but I can't keep getting further behind.  So here is what we did this past week.......

We continue to send pictures everyday to Colby.  He is up in Afton Wyoming.  He has been able to come home on weekends, so it has been nice.

Thursday was Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Hadlee continues to do better at school, we are still working on reading faster, but she is really improving.

Friday Merrill was sick again.  Double ear infections and could be the start of some breathing issues/pneumonia.  But he seems to be doing better on antibiotics. 

Hanks had State Wrestling.  He had two matches and got pinned in both of them.  He had 22 kids in his bracket and the two he wrestled took 3rd and 4th. 

We got this picture by a former Olympic Wrestler.  He was really cute with Hanks.

Saturday the girls and me ran errands, went to dance practice and went to lunch with Grandma Glenda.

Colby and Hanks went fishing with my Dad and Mom and Trevor out to Strawberry.  (Hanks has called it Raspberry a few times.)  They caught a bunch and had a lot of fun.

Then today, it was church, lunch and then Colby heading back to Afton.

Halloween

Halloween came and went.  We actually had a really enjoyable time this year.

The two kids went to school

They have the best teachers in the entire world.

Then we started on our rounds.

First we stopped by Grandma Jone's work.

Then we went around to all the great grandparents we could

We got home and it was still beautiful and warm outside, so went and did a little trick-or-treating.

Ivy really started to get the hang of it.

We got back home in time to see some of the cousins stop by the house.

I am not a big Halloween fan, but this year it was kind of fun.
