Can you tell we like vacations? Well this one was our last harrah! Due to our new and exciting step in our lives, we are having our little girl coming this Christmas and cannot wait for her to come!!!

We met a couple out there in the Dominican and they invited us to their house for lunch. This vacation was a humbling experience, it made me realize how blessed we truly are. Seeing how these people live and how they survive in the heat is beyond me.

The Alphabet Game

Here's how you play... My cousin Heather tagged me with the letter "J". So now I have to list 10 things I love that start with that letter

1. Jamaica- I have never been there but it's in the carribean and want to go there:)

2. Jamba Juice - I always crave them!!! that's 2 points for J!

3. Jumpstarting- I love to jumpstart anyday with a nice big glass of water!

4. Jackets- I have a husband that has more jackets than me- he loves them!

5. Jewelry- I love dressing up with jewelry when I go places!

6. Jumping-There are many different terms of jumping, one is a tramp-that's fun! Another I will be doing this summer.... but I will tell you when that happens! :)

7. Joseph Smith- I love learning about the prophet, he is one of my hero's and has done much for me and others.

Christmas break

It's been a long time since I have been able to update what's been going on. Since Thanksgiving well life is the same, Nate working and school full time, and I am working like crazy! Christmas was fun though I got Nate a blu-ray player... he figured out I got it for him only because I accidently left the model number on the couch - yeah I am so smart. He loved it though! He got me my 8G Ipod and a nice snowboarding coat!


During Christmas break Nate decided he wanted to paint his office so we did. Funny story towards the end we got done painting I was taking a chair to the other side of the room totake the tape off of the ceiling, well I wasn't paying attention and my foot caught the paint can and it spilled ALL over the plastic and the carpet! I about had a heart attack. With my feet all covered in green paint here I am scooping it back into the can then Nate takes over while I get grocery bags tied around my ankles to run downstairs to get the spray and wash and when that bottle went empty we used Windex...pretty pathetic, but luckily we got it ALL out of the carpet (it was a huge spot too) it doesn't even look like paint spilled- we got lucky on that!

Vegas on Halloween weekend

So we decided to go to Vegas on Halloween weekend since we don't have any kids yet :). It was so much fun! The pic above was our room at the Venetian Hotel, that was such a nice hotel! We enjoyed every minute of it!



We saw the Phantom of the Opera down at Vegas, if any of you get the chance to see it, do it! It's so amazing! I will see it again in a heartbeat.




OK so random but we saw a store that sold rare books or 1st editions, and the book above was dated back in 1493 and the estimated cost is $250k! We saw a ton of books like the first Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Lewis and Clark, and some Winston Churchill books.

It was nice to get away for a weekend, especially when we work and go to school 14 hrs a day. Kinda feels like as if we are hermits in a way cause we don't see much of anyone right now. Somehow we still manage time out of each day to hang out with each other for a couple of hours at night before we go to bed.

Familiy Party

On friday we has a family halloween party, and Nate, Lisle, and Wes did a couple dry ice bombs and lay it under the tramp while they lay on top of the tramp! It was hilarious watching them!




Nate and I also dressed up as Ute fans all because my family are BYU fanatics. It was so fun!
