I know I've been a little out of it with blogging...for like a year. But, I know that people want to see where we live now and this is a great way to share. Maybe a little background would be helpful: We moved up to Rexburg about a month ago. Chad will be starting school at BYU-Idaho in the Fall. We came up to get a look around and we found a nice little house to rent. It was a cute little house with a fenced-in backyard. It was available then so we decided to move up a little early in order to take that. Well, since we've been here we were offered a GREAT opportunity and we feel so blessed. We had been applying for Apartment Managing positions, but nothing was happening so we had kind of given up. Then, we got a phone call with someone interested. We really loved the place we were living and the kids LOVED the yard. :) But...this management deal was way too good to pass up. Here are some pictures we took yesterday as we started the moving in process. We still have a lot to do. But, this house is more than we could ever ask for. I don't think we'll ever fill it up while we live here.

First, here's the weight room that's connected to us. It's the women's weight room. We have a door that goes straight to it. We won't even have to go outside :)

They're newly renovated. In fact, most of the students haven't even been able to see it. It's pretty nice :)

This is taken from the corner of our house. The yard isn't done yet. They're working on it, though. It should be done within a month :)

This is a view from the kitchen to the living room. I'm standing right by sliding glass doors that will go out onto a little deck.

Some more kitchen. Over to the left is a space for our computer. The door you see goes to the pantry. The fridge and stove are obviously missing. We'll get those in about a week and a half.

This is looking into our pantry. We will definitely not be able to fill it. I'm actually going to use half of it as a craft room. That was Chad's genius idea. Probably because he hates all my papers and fabric cluttering up everywhere. :)

More of the pantry. That countertop with drawers has wheels on it so it rolls around wherever you need it to go. I'm not sure if it fits out the door, though.

This is by far my favorite picture. It really gives a feel for how gorgeous this place is. I wish we could stay here forever.

This is more of the pantry. Haha - the most shocking thing to me has been that the pantry is so big that it needs a window :)

This is the half bathroom in the entry-way.

To the right of the front door there's a little office that I will be using. The door you see is the one that goes out to the stairs for the fitness room.

This is what you see if you turn right at the top of the stairs. This closed door on the right is a linen closet.

The first door on the right is this sort of bonus room. Instead of a forth bedroom they put in a little family room area. It has a full-size closet, though, so it could easily be used as a bedroom. It has a little kitchenette in it and that's where the laundry is. I'm excited to have the laundry upstairs with the bedrooms.

Another view of that room. We're getting a stackable washer and dryer. They'll get here the same day as the fridge and stove.

Both bedrooms have a big walk-in closet. All of the closets are really nice because they are all organized with shelves.

Here is Emma's favorite room. We're using it as a playroom for now since the kids sleep in a bunk bed.

The biggest shower we'll probably ever have.

This shower really is a work of art.

The bathroom has a little room made just for the toilet.
We really feel so blessed to be here. We still feel like we're visiting, on vacation or something. It is really amazing to be able to make this our home for a view years. I hope our kids can make memories here. There's lots of space for them to play and run.
There's probably too many pictures, but I know some of you really would want to know the details, so I put a lot of pictures up. We took a video walk-through earlier today, too. We'll post that a little later.
As you can see, we have plenty of room for visitors :) We would be so excited to see everybody! I hope you can all come sometime over the next three years or so.
