• What is a puzzle magazine? It's a unique narrative escape game where you are the detective. Each page features a puzzle, and upon solving it, you can advance to the next page. The mystery unravels and you solve the murder by completing 13-15 puzzles.
• Do I need an app? No! Everything you need is on the pages of the magazine. You only need a pen to take notes.
• What if I get stuck? There are hints and solutions on the last pages of the magazine. Also, there's no harm in skipping a puzzle and coming back to it later if you feel like it; the story can be enjoyed without solving every single puzzle too.
• Can I give it to someone else after solving it? Sure! All of the puzzles can be solved on separate paper if you want to keep the magazine clean and give it forward. The puzzles are designed in such a way that you never need to cut or destroy the magazine.
• Do I need lots of space to solve it? No, the magazine doesn't have any loose parts or extra items, so you can solve it on a train ride, sitting in a cafe, or basically anywhere!
• Do I need a group of friends? No, it's perfect for a solo detective. However, it might be fun to compare theories with a friend or a small group.
• Is there a time limit? No, if you solve it in one sitting, it can take 2-4 hours. It also suits detectives with a busy lifestyle, since you can solve one page at a time and take breaks.
• Can I play it with my kid? The magazines are primarily aimed at adults, but they are cozy mysteries and do not contain graphic violence. I would recommend it if your child is old enough and interested in old Agatha Christie-style mysteries. The most frightening images in the magazine are, for example, a skeleton and the shadow of a dead person.
• I am color blind, can I play? We have tested the magazines with a color blind playtester who didn’t have problems. There might be one or two puzzles that have color elements.
• Where are they made? The magazines are designed and printed in Finland.
