Congrats Uncle Kevin!

We are so proud of Kevin graduating. He actually did in December, but had to wait until now to walk. We are so happy for him. Randy's Mom got to come up for it as well as Jessie's family. We had a little get together after to celebrate. 

Birthdays Everywhere

Jay was invited to Jayden Jamison's Birthday at Jumping Jacks. The kids ate pizza and played hard. Here are just a few snapshots. Jay was totally exhausted at the end of it all.

This was my Birthday joy. Randy made me some sugar free pudding. It was dang good. He and Jay also got me the "New Moon" DVD. It wasn't an earth shattering day, but it was just what I wanted. I got to exercise and be with my family. We got Subway and went to the park. Just my kinda day.

We have had a couple of absolutely beautiful days. We go to the park as much as we can. We had a little picnic and Jensen was LOVING her first whole carrot. Jay was loving playing with all the kids. I was loving the sun.

*Please don't tell Randy I wore my "Happy Thanksgiving" shirt that I got for $.98 at Old Navy, out of the house. I promised him it was a sleep shirt only...

Happy Birthday Randy!

Yesterday was Randy's birthday and Jay and I surprised him with some little decorations. We wrote some note cards to tell him just how we feel about him. I am sure glad Jamison likes Randy. I did not make the cake in the pic. Some guys over at the fire station dropped it by for him, which was so nice. Jamison got Randy some work out shorts and he was so excited for it to be just from him and Jensen. We spent the day as a family and went to Red Robin for dinner. It was a good day to be 32!

Keeping Busy

I have really got to catch up on my writing, but too much has gone on to even think about. Here are a few high lights of the week:
-I made whole wheat bread and it turn out SO good.
-Randy, Jensen and I had a picnic up in the canyon at Timp Park
-We played outside a Jay started riding his bike again.
-Jensen was having fun in the sun with Mom
-Errands here and there and a few hundred Birthdays in the month of April....

Basketball

Jay has been loving basketball. I think his favorite part is the running, but he says shooting. He reminds me every time, BEEF. B-Balance E- Eyes on the hoop E- Elbows squared F Follow through. I am learning so much already!

Bridal Veil Falls

Today was supposed to be beautiful. The best day of the week...we were all so happy...until we went outside. We went up the canyon to the falls with Shelly and the kids and it was freezing. I am not wearing my snow jacket and scarf just for looks. We thought it would be pretty but it wasn't. Everything was still dead. Most of these pics are photo shopped so you can see how ugly it really was. I can't wait for a real Spring when everything turns green again. Of coarse later that day around 4:00 pm it was beautiful and I got to take a brief little nap while laying in the grass in the backyard. Have I mentioned that I love the sun?

Hiking

Today was a beautiful day so we decided to hike the Y. It ended up just being Jay and I. Randy was having a pain in his foot so he stayed down at the bottom with Jensen and read a book. It was the first time this year and although it was still hard it didn't seem that bad. Jay was SUPER tired and needed to rest at ever marker and get a drink. He was awesome though and made it to the top with out complaint. It was still freezing at the top with the wind blowing. It makes me even more excited for Summer.

Funny Jay

Some Funny things Jay has said lately:

-"I was so sleepy I didn't even hear the Easter Bunny hopping."
-"Do bugs say their prayers?"
-Mom: "How do you get the Holy Ghost?"
 Jay: "You catch it with a net."
-While out to lunch. " Oh I love soup and salad, it's my favorite!" (On a menu of pizza and chicken fingers.)
-"The sun is out Mom! It's Summer,  YAY!!!!!"
-"RJ was punching Scott at school today and that was not appropriate."
-Randy was playing Mario (something) and forget the free life and went back to get it and died. Jay said, "Dad, that wasn't necessary."
-His favorite sentence these days....."Oh, I didn't realize...blah blah blah...."

Trouble

Some one can now stand and pull herself up. It is very scary. Just started to figure the stairs out. I am already tired from chasing her. I think she may even know how to work the DVD player!

Easter

We had and egg hunt for our ward yesterday. It was freezing. I am not sure how cold it was but it was definitely under 30 degrees and with the wind it was iceberg.  Look at how much fun we are all having. Just your typical spring morning...with your parkas and gloves and hats and blankets... They did have donuts and hot chocolate which was nice. People put a lot of time into it and that was appreciated. Jay even stopped getting eggs cause he was so cold. He was like.. "yeah, I'm good..Can I have my hot chocolate now?" -Mama's boy. Jensen was equally excited. We came home, watched conference and then went over to Kelly's to dye Easter eggs. Jay spilled the blue dye EVERYWHERE, but mostly all over Madison. So, that was fun. The kids had a great time and were so excited.

Crazy Jentsy

She is so crazy during the day that sometimes she takes little breaks/naps where ever she is. Today it was in the high chair. She loves to wrestle with Jay and he loves it too. How could you not love those little rascals.
