I WON!

 A few months ago My sis Cassidee introduced me to Karaoke. I brought my friend Megan along and we had a blast. That night I won a $25 gift card. Which, in itself was super cool. But, after a couple months they invited all of the winners back for the finals. There were 8 of us and we all sang one song. They picked the top 3 and then they had to sing again. I made the top 3! I was shocked, really. My first song I sang was, "I saw the Light" by Wynonna and my second song was "Angel" by Sarah McLachlin. Well the next thing I know I had WON!!! I won...what? I won $300.00. Crazy. Even better my friend Megan had told some girls about it an they all decided to come. So it really felt like a fun party.

AZ With Chuck

So many amazing memories with my BFF Charla (Chuck). We didn't get a chance to go on a girls trip this year, so I decided to take a trip down to AZ to see my buddy. We have officially know each other for 18 years. That is just awesome. I knew from the moment she picked me up from the airport it was going to be fun. She said something in the car on the way home that made me laugh so dang hard. It was something from our 18 years of knowing each other and having the exact same sense of humor that made it just that much more hilarious.  We did a lot of cool things in just a few days. I dragged her on a hike in the middle of nowhere that ended up taking 4 hours. It was so fun and she wanted to kill me. The weather was so beautiful. I forced her into going on a walk every morning and she took me to yoga class. We went and got pedicures and massages and went to the movies. I introduce them to Waffle Love on Jarrom's Birthday and they shared my love of all things delicious. We stopped by the new beautiful Gilbert Temple and I was able to go to lunch with my grandparents. It was exactly the trip I needed at exactly the right time.

AZ with the Bells

I had a chance to go to AZ last month and my trip was WAY too short. I only got to see these guys one night, but it was still so great. Jessie made the most yummy dinner and the weather was just beautiful. It was so good to see them. But, it was so sad to know that they are not down the street anymore. I still think I can invite them to Sunday dinner anytime I want. We seriously miss them. I got one smile out of Kai, but the second I touched him he freaked.
