I make it no secret, even at work, that my current role is … not exactly dynamic (read boring) so ask my manager towards the end of last year about opportunities in our wider team.

When I returned after the holidays, I was informed that changes were happening, people moving around, and that I was to start working with another team. ¹ The idea is to move people around more often without having to go through job applications and interviews etc. giving them better exposure and knowledge.

This is the kind of approach I've been seeking for years.

The past few days have, therefore, been a bit of blur as I (and a couple of others) start climbing the knowledge curve.
