Jordyn Riley was born March 17, 2003 at 7:26pm.  She weighed 6lbs 2oz and was 21"long.  I loved her before I even knew she was growing inside of me.  I had prayed for her and longed for her for so long.  When I found out I was pregnant I was elated! We knew from her first ultrasound that she would be a soccer player because she was a nonstop kicker and it has paid off! She is incredibly smart, athletic, funny, stubborn, and beautiful.  Her potential in this life is immeasurable and we enjoy watching her explore her talents.  She excels at everything she does and is willing to try new things. So much of her is made up of me(mostly the pain in the butt parts) and the rest of her I wish I could be. I pray that she continues to walk with Jesus every step of her life and make a difference in this world.  He has already created a beautiful work in her.

How 12 years have already gone by, I don't know.  It has been a pleasure to be  your mom.
I love you, Womba! Happy Birthday!

Ireland Cassidy....

She came into this world 2 months early and has been a little fighter ever since.  We had to have invitro to become pregnant with her and had no problem with that endeavor.  Unfortunately, my body doesn't like growing a baby and started plotting against me at about 32 weeks. The doctors tried everything to keep me pregnant, but my health was plummeting and they decided to induce me.  At 4:49 pm I delivered a beautiful 3 1/2 lb baby girl.  She was so tiny.  She was so perfect. She spent 30 days in the NICU learning how to eat and grow. She went home on day 30 with oxygen and still weighed less than 5lbs. She has not had one problem since the day she was born. She has been little, but if that's the worst of our situation we will take it.  She has thrived and turned into a smart, funny, happy girl.  She is so full of life and I would love to enter into her own little world for just an hour.
She turns 7 years old tomorrow and the years have literally flown by.  We love you so much, Monkey.  Happy 7th birthday!

It's been a few years since I have found time to post, but the kids are growing so fast that I want to journal there day to day activities.

Tomorrow, Caleb turns 2. I can't believe how quickly time can pass, especially the more kiddos you have. He is such a sweet boy.  He loves trains, trucks, boats, airplanes, puzzles, books, his brother and sisters, Mickey Mouse, swimming, milk, and playing with other kids.  He is such a happy kid.

When we found out we were pregnant with Caleb I was in shock that it was a boy. And it was twins! Unfortunately, Kyle went to be with the Lord before we met him.  We know we will see him one day.  I can't imagine having both boys running around this house, but we think about it often and we all feel a loss.  After losing Kyle, I was very worried about Caleb and so were the doctors.  They thought he had swelling on the brain.  I went weekly for ultrasounds and monitoring.  Despite the reasoning I was able to see Caleb's progress more than I would have without complications.  I was put on bedrest for 6 LOOOOOONG weeks and induced Super Bowl Sunday 2014.  Caleb made his big debut at 9: 09am on Monday morning.  He was a healthy, happy baby boy and we were all in love with him.  Turns out our little guy just had a big noggin!! lol And considering what we were up against I take his head size as a gift.  The Lord is so good to us.  We can imagine life without our little bulldozer.

Kid's Annual Halloween Party 2012

This year we implemented the little people Halloween Party as well as the big kid.  Daddy thought it was time Ireland got to have her own party.  To his credit he did most of the work, so I can't complain.  Ireland invited her friends and all but 3 made it to her shin dig. We decorated cupcakes, played duck, duck, goose, jumped on the trampoline, and had a pumpkin pinata.  I'm sure all the kids left on a sugar high.

Directly after the little kids party we started Jordyn's party. Yes, we are crazy! We had a costume contest, decorated cupcakes, had some games, played American Idol, flashlight hide and seek outside, flashlight tag, and watched Goosebump movies.  Everyone had so much fun and we survived yet another Halloween Party for our girls! Until next year everyone!
