    Consume Microsoft Fabric dataOpen

    Microsoft Fabric is rapidly becoming a modern data platform of choice. Our organisation has significant investment ingesting and transforming data into curated models in MS Fabric.I want to make use of the Huwise product to expose the MS Fabric data to our organisation and to the public. We have a significant number of PowerBi dashboards consume MS Fabric data.I would like the Huwise product to be able to read data directly from the MS Fabric data lakehouse without having to duplicate the data into the Huwise backend via api’s.

    Dataset Status Tracking Workflow - Back officeOpen

    As a department that manages datasets from different entities and departments through one centralized platform, the Open Data Portal, it would be very helpful to have a workflow or status tracking feature for each dataset after submission.Currently, once entities upload their datasets, they do not have clear visibility on what happens next. We usually confirm the publication by email after the dataset is published, but entities would prefer to track this directly through the platform.The suggested feature is to show the dataset status at each stage, such as Submitted, Under Review, Requires Update, Approved, or Published.This will help entities understand where their dataset stands, reduce follow-up emails, and improve transparency in the publishing process.

    Ability to control what is / isn't visible on the Explore pageOpen

    We need the ability to control what is and isn’t visible on the Explore page such as the default map and fields on the data table (don’t delete, just hide so the fields can be referenced by pages/dashboards elsewhere). Having a ‘front and centre’ chart on this page would also be useful and save additional clicks.This is all functionality/flexibility we had and have now lost.This follows on from the conversation: Default Map View | Community

    Updating of datasets on PortalOpen

    The option to choose a dataset update date would be more helpful if the dataset creator could receive a notification on the selected date to update the dataset.Since our portal hosts data from different government entities, we currently need to follow up with them manually to remind them to update their datasets. Therefore, it would be useful if this process could be simplified or automated, either through an email reminder or a notification within the portal. This would help ensure that datasets are updated on time and reduce the need for manual follow-up.

    ODS-MAP Intégration de nouvelles icônes dans les cartesOpen

    Bonjour, Sauf erreur de ma part, il n’est pour le moment pas possible d’intégrer dans les cartes des icônes issues d’autre banque de symboles (material-icons, font awesome ..). Il est toutefois possible d’établir une catégorisation selon la couleur (soit sur la base d’un champs couleur, soit par une champs de catégorisation). Il serait intéressant d’étendre les assets afin de pouvoir intégrer des icônes personnalisées ainsi que la possibilité de faire appels à des bibliothèque d’icônes en ligne afin d’étendre les options de représentations.

    Hello!When inviting users to register for the portal, the email that is sent contains a text that, in our case, is not “fit for purpose” as it doesn’t reflect the goal of our data portal.We think it would be a good feature to have the ability to edit this text from the backoffice in order to adapt it to each specific context.Thank you!

    If you are not going to allow the name “Catalog” to be editable to a descriptor of our choice, please can this be changed so that it is language apporporate for the company managing the page. So, for example, a UK based company would rather the word “Catalogue” be displayed instead of Catalog.

    User feedback - a handy linkOpen

    As a portal administrator, when users feedback on a dataset and we receive an email notification, it would be really helpful for the portal admin to have a link to the dataset in question - sadly we have ten + "Long Term Development Statements" and would have to click through each one.

    On a Studio page, when creating a filter, I want it to be applied to multiple visualisations based on different datasets with a common key. For example, I have several datasets with a colum “city” (population, schools, bicycle lanes, ..) and I want to propose a page where the user can choose his/her city and explore the visualisations linked to it (e.g. number of inhabitants, a map of the schools, a top 10 of the most popular bicycle lanes, etc..).

    A toggle in the security tab of a dataset. If activated, the dataset will be accessible via link for everyone (not just users of the portal), but isn’t listed in the dataset catalog. In that scenario, the “Default Security” toggle isn’t activated.The use case was coming up while integrating data of several departments of our city.     Account deletion in line with GDPROpen

    We recently received a request from a user to delete their user account. But once done, the user kept receiving emails from our platform. As is turns out, the account had been correctly deleted, but the user had subscribed to some datasets. So I had to browse to our entire catalog in order to point out which datasets the user was subscribed to, realize that I could not remove the subscriptions myself, and therefore ask the user to manually unsubscribe to every dataset they had no recollection to ever subscribe to. Not only was it time consuming for me, but also unpleasant for the user for whom such a process does not make sense, and finally not in line with the GDPR regulations.This leads me to point out the following :Ideally, deleting a user account should also remove said user’s subscriptions to datasets Admins should be able to remove user’s subscriptions to datasets from the backoffice There should be an easy, centralized way to get an overview of all datasets subscriptions accross the whole domain, whith filtering options on user at least

    Improve and automate "follow datasets"Open

    The “follow dataset” option is great but can be time consuming and sujbect to errors. To mitigate for this, an example of features : For each dataset, allow the admin to chose between sending notifications automatically or manually For the automated part, allow the admin to chose the frequency of notifications : “for every update” (might ne be ideal for datasets updated daily), “max once a day”, “max once a week”, etc For each dataset, allow the admin to save a default text, ideally with multilingual option and rich text instead of plain text
