Fishing in Kolob
This was a Sunday afternoon where we all decided to run up to Kolob and enjoy the mountain air. We had a great lunch. As we were eating there was this little cute malard duck that came and begged some crumbs from us. Pretty soon when she was full she swam away back the way she came. Not too long after, here comes 20+ ducks with her leading the way. It was so funny. It was like she had left and told all her friends that we were feeding her. In Kolob as much as we love it up there we usually have horrible luck so we really enjoyed feeding the ducks. It was really cool too because there was a fire over the hill and this great big water helicopter was taking water out of the lake. We watched it a few times.
My 15 year class reunion
Our first Homecoming

Michael took Paige Maag to his first high school dance. Homecoming 2011 at HHS. The theme was "Don't want to miss a thing". It was held at Shangri La. For their day date they went paint balling and had lunch. Then they all went home to get cleaned up. Cody Lebaron's aunt took the adorable pictures with the firetruck and the gorgeous car. Michael said taking the pictures was super fun. Then they can to our house and all us moms put together a dinner. I think they liked it. Then they just hung out for a bit because they didnt want to be early to the dance. Out of their group it was most of their 1st dance. When Michael got home he said it was so super fun. They got in there and danced the night away. I am so glad that he enjoyed his 1st dance.

2011 USA Football
We are super excited to be watching Christian play tackle football this year. We had the opportunity to participate in this great program when Michael was in 6th and 7th grade. The USA youth football program is a great way to teach these boys the fundamentals of football(anyway that is suppose to be the goal). Christian's first game was last Saturday. The USA program had a "Midnight Madness" practice tournament for all the teams. Christian played other 3rd grade teams from Cedar, Canyon View, Desert Hills, Dixie, Snow Canyon, and Mesquite. It was a learning experience for sure. Christian is still getting the concept down so it was fun to watch him try to keep his guy covered. The tournament was in Mesquite. It was 112 degrees. We were all dying. It is hard to complain though since my better half is dealing with 119 on a good day. I will suffer through my 112 and be grateful that I am home watching our son play the greatest game!
