This month, your gift meant real change in our neighbors' lives. No one should go to bed hungry, and this is especially true for seniors. Listen to Brenda tell you the difference coming to our Choice Pantry has made for her.

Front Desk Prayers

Whether it's in our prayer room or across our front desk, you will often find people praying together at Second Mile. We intentionally pray with our neighbors and share the love of Jesus with them. Through our services and ultimately through the Gospel, our desire is that they can experience hope in their circumstances.

Many of our neighbors are looking for more than food. Instead, they have goals, such as finding a job or improving health. Our Equip2Grow Academy offers classes and opportunities that will help them reach these milestones. Listen to Darlene talk with our Director of Opportunities and Connection, Kin Carter, about how the Academy has made a difference in her life.

Health in My Hands

Our neighbors often don't have access to health insurance. This means that important medical screenings like mammograms don't happen. Our partnership with Health in My Hands connects women to the services they need. They walk hand-in-hand with neighbors, ensuring that they find the services that will keep them healthy.
