Halloween Festivities

I am realizing quickly that this post could be spread up into many, but since I am playing make up, I am going to group them into one long one. ImageDaddy's little pumpkinImage

HALLOWEEN COOKIES

Aunt Michelle C. sent the boys some cookie cutters and Halloween sprinkles to make some delicious cookies and Aunt Michelle H. helped us make the cookies. The boys had lots of fun licking frosting, sprinkling cookies and eating lots of delicious cookies. I think Henry ate so many his tummy hurt afterward. We saved the best ones and gave them to some of our neighbors, but most of them had little boy prints or licks on them that we saved for ourselves. The sure had fun, thank you Aunt Shells!!ImageImage

Pumpkin Picking and Carving

I wanted to do something different this year with the boys. I wanted to go to a pumpkin patch and have them pick out a pumpkin. So we took them to a near by patch with some other Fall Festivities going on. They had live music, lots of pumpkins, barrel rides, face painting and blow up park. It was HOT the day we went, but lots of fun.ImageThe boys helped us bring the wagon from the car to the pumpkin patch... good helpers!ImageImageImageHenry was SO funny with this UgLy pumpkin! He treated it like a baby. It was HiLaRiOuS!!
ImageThe Kiddos!ImageHenry didn't want to leave his ugly baby pumpkin behind, so he just sat on the ground, holding it while we all urged him to go. Finally we just had to pick him and pry that thing away from him. What a funny attachment!ImageWe were waiting in line for the barrel ride... Henry is such a climber.ImageImage

HALLOWEEN NIGHT

It got kind of cold around of Halloween, especially at night, so we decided to switch up the costumes a little bit. Thomas became a train engineer, Henry a golfer, and Cadence stayed a cute lady bug.

I took on the role, with the new babe and all to stay home and hand out handfuls of candy ( to get rid of it all) while Michael took the boys trick or treating. The boys had lots of fun, and Cadence and I had fun seeing all the kiddos costumes. We had alot of trick or treaters, but not as many as I had bought candy for. So, like I said towards the end of the night the kids got handfuls so it wouldn't be hangin around our house.

In total the kids had

5 Halloween parties
4 Chances to Trick or Treat
3 pumpkins to paint or carve
2 Days out to Fall Festivities
1 LARGE bag of candy at the end of it all

Halloween is one of my most favorite Holidays!! I can't wait till next year!Image
Just a reminder of their other costume nights...

Photo shoot!

This baby girl is such a blessing in our house! She has her brothers wrapped around her little finger already! They love holding her, giving her kisses, getting finger hugs and especially helping with anything she may need like a bath or diaper change... I know right?!?!? A diaper change, but they do!

Her mommy and daddy are in love with all her little sounds, faces, fingers and toes! Everything that makes her just so PERFECT! We are so excited to have her in our family.

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!! We have had a lot of Halloween activities lately. Thomas' preschool had a couple Halloween parties. The boys are really good at asking for candy now... or trick or treating.

This is on their wagon ride... my little golfer and super man.

ImageTheir favorite was the bean bag toss... they played this till we finally had to tell them it was time to go home.
ImageThomas loves coloring!!! He carried his pumpkin picture around all the stations and colored it instead of doing some of the other activities. He has been coloring a lot at home also. I can't seem to keep a marker or crayon out of his hand!

AND... this is my new favorite picture. The look on Henry and Thomas' face is priceless.

Cadence photo shoot

They have a professional photographer that comes around postpartum taking pictures of your new babies, if you want. You can all check out the pictures at www.bellababyphotography.com. The password is "1010cadencecooper". Enjoy!

Cadence videos

Here are a few videos. They haven't been edited, and some are longer than some may care to watch, but I'm guessing that there will be at least a couple people that will enjoy these.

Cadence Lynn Cooper

We are so happy and pleased to announce the arrival of Cadence Lynn Cooper. She was born 10/10/10 at 5:08 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and is 19.5" tall. She and mom and doing very well.

Aubree's friends from work decorated Aubree's room for the big event. It was really sweet of them. They were fantastic.

Dr. Stein however is determined to miss all of our children's births. She got there late for Henry and got there after Cadence was born as well. She even went so far as to break her wrist to try and get out of it. To give her credit, she still came and tried to glove up over her cast.

Aubree was fantastic throughout the labor and delivery. She did it again without an epidural and she really is quite inspiring.

We couldn't ask for anything more with Cadence. She is just perfect. She's eating well and besides a few bruises on her face, she couldn't be better.
