10 Hour RR Update

This is our third leg of the 10 Hour RR from the OOE board. This turn was Lani's rr. I can't remember the name of the patter, but I do know it is a Rosewood Manor chart:

January Ornament--Better Late Than Never

I had grand plans for 2011. One of those plans was to get back to stitching an ornament every month--I did start one in January, but didn't manage to finish it until April. Is it my fault that time seems to go by at the speed of light LOL. This is Swedish Hearts by Scandinavian Stitches from one of the JCS ornament issues. I used a scrap of 32ct fabric and Bandana by Crescent Colors.

Merry and Bright

I joined the Incentive Stitching Round on OOE for this year. In order to meet the size criteria, I decided to stitch two designs. I am working on Merry and Bright by Shepherd's Bush right now...the top photo was what I managed to do the day the Incentive round started

Nature's Song Exchange

I received this adorable bird from Stephanie. This was for the Nature's Song exchange on the OOE board. He is too cute and I am going to make him my avatar on Facebook LOL.

Some Crochet Finishes, a WIP and Some Finished Photos

I am obsessed with crocheting and have been for the past 6 months. I used to crochet years ago, but only knew how to stitch a huge granny square. Thanks to You Tube, I am definitely broadening my horizons and expanding into different stitches. Here is a completed dish/wash cloth and a little coaster I made from the remaining skein.

This next photo is my January ornament WIP. I am half done with Scandinavian Stitches "Swedish Hearts" ornament from the 2009 JCS ornament issue. I am using Crescent Colors Bandanna on 32ct linen.

Lastly, my DH framed some items that have been in my Fuppie pile for years. All but the red and white button piece were stitched for me in various exchanges. I stitched Red and White Buttons years ago...I think somewhere like 2002 LOL.

Hopefully I will have my ornament finished tomorrow and I can post a photo of that.
