We are so proud of Blake. He got the gold award for having A's and an award for perfect attendance.

Blake's first day of Kindergarten

I'll freely admit it. I got a little teary eyed dropping Blake off on his first day of school. He was so excited, a little bored waiting around and a little nervous not knowing what to expect. I can't wait to hear all about his first day when he comes home. 

This was his first homework assignment. It's a self portrait. He says he isn't mad, he made himself red because we didn't have any pink. Lol! I love this boy!

Legoland

We splurged on Legoland tickets. It was great for Blake, he could go on almost every ride. And they had family rides too.

Bash was upset that people were in "his" truck. 

I don't know if you can see, but Blake has a huge grin on his face and his arms in the air.

Oceanside

For our anniversary weekend, we went to Oceanside. Yes, we took the kids and ours friends, Elliott, Molly and Lincoln came with us for a night. The boys had fun playing together.

We got to play at the playground on the beach.

Bash loved the swings. The view was pretty cool too!

Then we all decided to go for a ride on this. I can't remember what it is called now. But we all pedaled except the kids. It kicked some of our butts! But it was fun.

yuma fair

Blake was super excited to go to the fair today. It was a lovely evening. I wasn't sure if he would be scared on some of the rides or not. But as you can see in the photos, he was grinning from ear to ear. Bash is still a little young, but he did have fun running through bubbles. I wish I got a picture.
We also got to see the sheep, goats, cows and pigs. A fun night!

Yuma Airshow

It was such a perfect day for the air-show. Sunny, breezy and in the 70's. We got up close looks at the jets and helicopters. Blake ate a whole hamburger. That kid is growing!

Robots

Blake came out from his playroom one day with a robot. He walked it around the house. Sebastian thought it was cool and kept sneaking it away to play when Blake wasn't looking. Blake made him his own and now I have robots stalking me in the kitchen.
Blake is being a nice big brother and fixing Bash's robot whenever he breaks it.

boys!

We are blessed to have numerous parks all around Yuma. This one is really close to our house. The boys love being outside. Sebastian is just getting so big! He climbs up and goes down the slide feet first on his tummy all by himself!

They love to run, throw rocks, play in the dirt/sand and play. They especially don't like it when it's time to leave.

hoorah for landscaping!!

It took us a little bit to decide what we wanted. And the guys finally came today. I kept the boys home with me because I knew that they would get a kick out of watching them do the landscaping. They originally said that it might take 4 days to complete, but they were done in a day!

The dump truck was LOUD when it dumped the rocks. Blake was covering his ears.

We ended up with a big pile of creek rock. 

The finished product! I love it! And my boys love it. How could they not? They are boys and they have a front yard full of rocks!

In other news, Adam did get around to putting up my towel holder things. I am excited to get the towels off my counter.
If only the tile guys would get here so we are hostage to our house anymore.

pool party in October!

Our friends, the Fonseca's had the twins Birthday party this month. The boys had a blast in the kid area. It was a little chilly though. So I brought warm clothes for the boys to change into. They both had a blast and Blake didn't want to leave. We will definitely have to go back to the pool again!
