So I thought I would be ready for school to start today! That was so not the case! I just keep telling myself it can't be worse than last semester...at least I hope not! I had such hopes that we would be all moved in (p.s. we bought a house) and that we would be so organized and ready for school to start! Oh well!
I thought I would post a little about our house even though its not completely done! Cam and I knew a year ago when we couldn't find anywhere to rent before school that before we left Laramie we would have a house here to rent out! It has always been a dream of my finance goo-rue husband to have rentals and it was a dream that I quickly adopted also! So we started looking last year and after a year, 3 real estate agents, and 2-failed offers, we finally bought a house! And we love it! Its not fancy and its not brand new but we love it and its ours! We loved most that it was pretty much move in ready! We simply were going to have the carpet all replaced the day after we bought it and then paint and move in! Our perfect plan! Well, nothing is so simple! We closed on a Friday, had the carpet replaced on Saturday, and then Sunday we decided to throw our plan out of wack and redo the Kitchen and Laundry room! So the next day we headed to Lowes! And then the tearing out began (I admit it was mostly by Cam while I played in Mesquite on a girls weekend!) Which brings us to where we are now! What started as a two week project has now turned into a two month project and with the help of lots of fam (thanks everyone!) we are starting to get closer! We are probably a few weeks away still but the end is in sight and we are loving it! Here is the outside! I'll post more before/after pics when we are done!

Lost Camera = No Pictures = No Fun!
So I have been holding off on all our posts because somewhere between here and Blackfoot, we lost our camera! I'm sure its just hiding somewhere obvious where we have looked a hundred times, but until we decide to see it I guess pictures will just have to wait :( ! But here is what we've been up too!

Elder Sparks!
Last weekend the drive came again as we headed to Cokeville for my brothers Farewell! We were really excited that they waited to do his Endowments on Saturday so we could be there! We were so glad that we got to be a part of his experience in an unexpected way! Afterwords we ate at Golden Corral! It was yummy! Steak and Shrimp! :) The next day Jordan talked in Church. He did such a good job! My little brother isn't so little anymore! After church we had a luncheon. It was so much fun to visit with family and friends! We had work and school so we didn't go to the MTC with him on Wednesday (Mom, Dad and Em said that we didn't miss much though! It was a pretty much a mormon version of a cattle drive :)!) but it was good to be there for the weekend and see him before he headed off! He'll be a great missionary and we are so proud of him! See ya in two years Jor!

Conference Weekend!
We always love conference weekend! The fall session is especially fun for us because it was 1 year from when we got engaged! I can't believe it was a year ago! Crazy! But we really enjoyed conference and the opportunity to hear from our leaders within our home!
Its hard to pick just one favorite talk but I really liked Elder Uchtdorf's talk about the things that matter most! I think it was such an appropriate topic and one that I could relate to! Its easy to get caught up in "keeping busy" but it was a good reminder to evaluate my life and whether or not I am keeping busy with the basic things that matter the most! It was a great conference and we are excited for the Ensign to come out next month!

Hobbs Family Visit!
We were really excited when Cam's parents came to visit this weekend! They got here Friday night so we headed up to explore the mountains and find a place to cookout! We hadn't had a chance to really scope anything out so we just kinda headed in a direction that we knew had campgrounds and ended up in a really nice spot! It was only about 15 minutes from our house but it was a nice little campsite and we had fun roasting hot dogs and making s'mores!
The next day we decided to go into Fort Collins. Cam's mom had never been into Colorado before so we met one of her really good friends that she grew up with and then hit the shops! We were searching for a chocolate factory and my really bad find led us to the Mall! Yes it was the little chocolate shop in the mall! But it was still yummy and we splurged a little but it was definitely worth it! Then we decided to head back to this Italian restaurant that we had found a coupon to! It was yummy and definitely on our revisit list! We ended the day with a walk through Sportsman's Warehouse and of course Sam's Club! (Its our new favorite place to shop!)
The next day we kinda hung around Laramie and showed his parents around! It is so funny to me how excited Cam gets to see the Antelope! Every time we would see one we had to stop! And in Laramie....that's a lot of stops! It was a fun weekend and we were glad they got to come!

UniWyo Volleyball!
Cam's work sponsors a team for the intramural volleyball team! So we get to play a couple nights a week together! Its a lot of fun, I won't lie, we aren't very good and we lose a lot (which gets really frustrating) and its not the most competitive which makes it hard..but..it is something that we can do together a couple nights a week and we have a lot of fun doing it! We also have some sweet t-shirts so that's a plus! So hopefully we get better before the end but either way its been nice to get to know the people that Cam works with and its been fun to play with Cam! We never really played together before so its been a fun new experience!

Temple/Family Pictures!
So a few months ago one of my friends did a class to make these super cute pictures! I loved them and wished I was closer so I could go! But since I couldn't make it, I decided to try and do a class in Blackfoot! I started talking to people and seeing if anyone was interested and then got a teacher lined up! At the beginning, this was a pretty easy set up...however moving in the middle complicated things a bit! But despite the distance we got it lined up and had a great turn out and had a blast! It was fun to have my mom and sisters and Grandma Coates come along with Cam's mom and sisters and some of her friends! Also Cam's cousin came and some friends from our ward/town came! It was a fun day and they turned out great!! I was so mad that I forgot my camera but here are some pictures of the finished products!
