I'm still getting the hang of mobile posting. LOL But as you can see I got two more A's in the classes I'm taking. Life is cool. The girls are...teenagers (parents of teens know what I mean LOL).
I'm mad at the I RS because they are not on their job...making me wait until 2/11 to file because they don't have they ish together. But the $$$ will be all worth it in the long run (yah for education credit)!
I'm going out this Friday to one of my friends parties and I'm a little excited.
BTW I bought the Pan.tech D uo and it's pretty cool but the battery life sucks.

What's Up!
Ok, I'm getting really bad at posting these days, but life has been really busy and crazy.
Since the last time I wrote my oldest daughter moved in with her father, because he felt that he would be able to take better care of her than me. He enrolled her in school three weeks late and made her go to all of her medical appointments by herself and catch the bus back home. Apparently he was too busy to accompany her. Anyway, after telling me how bad of a parent I am and that I let my daughter have too much freedom (she's 16, for crying out loud) he told my daughter to call me and tell me that she's coming home. He simply said, "I can't do this anymore." Can't do what? Be a parent? Can't afford to support just one of our three children, while I have supported all three without a dime of child support? Anyway, I got her enrolled in school and she's adjusting just fine now. What a waste. I CANNOT believe I ever thought that I would be with that man for the rest of my life.
Moving on...
I have completed my first set of classes and I have a 4.0! Whooohoooo! I'm so proud of myself. In the beginning I doubted that I would do well, but I think that blogging has helped me transition into my online classes. I'm in my second set of classes now and I'm going to work even harder to keep my 4.0.
Work is the same ole, same ole. Except for in September when the budget wasn't approved and we were laid off for about 3 hours until they came up with a temporary one. How embarassing that my employer can't get their ish together so that our services won't be interrupted.
I'm looking to get a new vehicle soon. I kind of like the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, or another American automakers crossover vehicle. I need the extra room and the better gas mileage. It most definitely won't be a lease, because I work 20 miles from my job, just one way.
I got my hair cut, really short now...but I love it! I'll post a pic soon.
Thanks for checking to see if I posted something new!

Hey
It’s been a minute since I’ve really written.
I had been going through some ish with my oldest daughter. These kids nowadays think they are grown for real and don’t know the first thing about life. During this episode with my daughter, I went through the full range of emotions…anger, sadness, hopelessness, non-chalantness (is that a word LOL), etc. I’m just happy that J now understands a little bit more and she’s safe.
I had surgery on my toe to correct the crookedness and I’m healing just fine. Here’s a pic of it. Not for the squeamish.

Last year due to me helping out someone and some of my own issues, I got myself in some pretty bad debt. I have to say now that I have $0 balances on two of my major credit cards, $0 balances on all of my department store cards and I only have one more major creditor to go before I am totally debt free. I’ve been working! My short term goal for this year is to be totally debt free. My 1 year goal is to get another vehicle and buy another house.

Oh, and I start school at the end of August! I’m excited about that. It’s been a long time since I last went (12 years ago) but I’m open and willing to do my best. I have to be marketable just in case I want to leave my current employer.
S and I are still together. We were supposed to go to SF last month but didn’t because of the issues with J. I really appreciated the love and support that I received from S during this very trying time. He’ll probably never know the depth of my gratitude.
I had to take my hair out of the twists I had because my hair grew so much. I thought that if I went another week I would have had locks. I go tomorrow to get it done again. I kind of like having them. My hair is 100% natural now! It took me a year of transitioning but I did it. I haven’t pressed it or blow dried it since last fall, so I don’t know how long it is, but it doesn’t matter now that it’s natural.
Tomorrow, I’m cooking. I love cooking. I think we will be having: collard greens, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, baby back ribs, brats, steaks, chicken breasts, wings, seafood salad, corn on the cob, and chicken/ beef kabobs. I don’t think I forgot to mention something… S loves my cooking, so I love cooking for him. I think he’s gained about 15-20 pounds since last fall LOL. Not to mention my daughters haven’t pushed themselves away from the table either. My youngest, C, has gone from 4’10” and 96 pounds to 5’3” and 123 pounds within 6 months. Now that’s a growth spurt. But she plays softball, so I don’t worry too much about it.
I hope everyone enjoys their time off and gets an opportunity to spend it with the ones you love and care about.
