Beskrivelse

This simple plugin helps you convert URLs in post content to clickable links. Also, it opens external links in new browser tab automatically.

Just install and activate the plugin, and you’re done. No additional settings are required.

Installation

  1. Upload `clickable` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. You’re done. Your links in the post contents are now clickable.

Unfortunately not working

I activated the plugin and checked a post, it was headed with a message saying that the plugin is using mb_convert_encoding() for HTML entity handling, which is deprecated in newer PHP versions. I’m not sure if this is the only problem but couldn’t get it working anyway. Hope you update it soon!

Crashed my Beaver Builder Pro Plugin

My pages stopped showing content based on being logged in or being logged out. I had to remove the plugin and then reset my cache to restore the functionality of my website. Bummer. I really wanted this to work.

Content Views stop displaying

As another reviewer said, after activating the plugin, all embeds, not just YouTube stopped displaying. This includes filtered views from Content Views Pro.

Youtube embeds stop working

All youtube url based type of embeds turn into plain links. No config or other way to filter those domains. Theres a support thread from 7 months ago about this problem with no answer, so no support either.

So far… it has worked perfectly….. I had a post with a bunch of url’s and instantly after activating the plugin I refreshed the page and BAM…. all links.
