Last August we got a new granddaughter!  Holly and Blake and Brody were blessed with Greta!  Here is all our grandchildren!  It gets pretty busy with all of them at our house.  We sure love them!

Our ward here in San Diego had a campout!  JoAnn as Ward Activities and Service Coordinator, got to plan the whole thing.  There were over 200 for the dinner and breakfast.  Half the people stayed in tents.  It was a blast.

 

There was a little family of deer that attended the Campout as well.

 

 

 

JoAnn's Birthday!!

Today is JoAnn's Birthday!  It seems like we are always doing something fun around her birthday each year.  Two years ago we were down here in San Diego working, a couple of other years we were moving to and fro across the United States.  This year we are living here in San Diego and will enjoy a tri-ward breakfast and fireworks later on.

We do love going on drives along the beach and visiting new places.  We have annual passes to SeaWorld and have gone several times. This summer they have fireworks every night.  So we will definitely go there and see them.

We will be going to Utah next month to spend time with the family. It should be a great time!

For now we enjoy site seeing along the coast.

We love to go walk through the open houses.

 We are back in San Diego and loving it!  We do miss our families.

More from this Spring. Easter and our move.

 We had a great time this Easter coloring eggs.

 

 Brody and Blake got in the act.  Grandpa was too interested in the TV.

 Gavin and Adia had fun writing on the eggs and then coloring them.

 We held our Easter party the week before Easter because my work required us to move to San Diego.  The contracts out at Dugway had slowed down for a while and they needed me back in San Diego to work.  So one of the first things we did was go to the beach.  I love watching the pelicans fly low over the water.

We are staying at our favorite hotel while we look for a condo to live in here. 

 Here is a picture of the front of my office.  Our company owns over 20 buildings just in the area near our hotel.  There are lots more scattered around San Diego.

 

 Out on the Del Mar Beach.  It just goes on and on.

 

It's May already and I haven't kept up the Blog.  So in a few short pictures I will try to bring everything up to date. We moved in on Halloween!  We moved in to our home in Layton on Halloween too!  26 years separated the moves.  We love our new home.  A few weeks after this picture they did finish the landscaping.  Right after they put the sod down it snowed.

 A picture of our family room.  I am not sure who is on the TV and we did get a new stand to put the TV on.  Below is our front room and entry.  It provides lots of light into the home.

We has several good snow storms that left lots of snow.  It was exciting watching the clouds roll in and sometimes we couldn't see the homes just below us because the clouds were so thick.

Here is just one of the may rainbows that we saw from our deck.  And on a clear day we can see Idaho!

More to come, it's time to go to Church.

It's been a few months since I have updated this blog but better late than never.  We came back last summer from San Diego to find our new house being framed up.  It was exciting to see it progress.  We did sell our home in Layton to a very nice family, the Kings.  We moved from there in September to a condo near our new home in North Salt Lake.

Here are some pictures in our condo.  We had Amelia come and stay for a while and a girl who is Lori's pen pal from Brazil was staying with Lori and also was there.  I will have to find those pictures.
