It had to happen and it did around the end of June. JoAnn and I moved back into our home in Layton. We were gone almost two years (22 1/2 months, to be exact). We had a great time and have lots of wonderful memories of our living in Missouri and Florida. We really miss the beach in Pensacola and all our friends that we made there.
Rick arrived on a Saturday along with his brother-in-law Reed from a three day drive cross country. We drove over 2000 miles. It was great to be home but I think Reed is still feeling the effects of the long drive.
Jordan got home about 10 days later (sorry no pics yet, but there is some that I will put up soon).
We went up to the Petterborg Family reunion held at Uncle Tom's farm which was the family farm where JoAnn's Grandma and Grandpa Petterborg raised their children. We always eat dutch oven chicken and potatoes. It was great!
Then we had the Drake family reunion, Rick's Mother's family. It is held at Layton Surf and Swim and the park across the street. This year was the first year without Great Grandma Drake. We miss her.
Next up was the Webster Reunion. We loaded up in a 'Le Bus' in Bountiful and rode up to Glendale, Idaho. It is near Prestion. We drove by the Logan Temple and stopped at a couple of cemeteries along the way. We ended up out in the middle of a hay field for lunch and an program. It was lots of fun. Gavin had the most fun playing in the field.
