Once everyone left, it was time to return our lovely rental car- it was a treat to have it :) now back to the trains and busses and lots of walking

We headed down to busselton to experience the jetty and underwater observatory. After we couldn't resist visiting a few more wineries in Margaret river that we missed our first trip. This was taken on the road when mr.attitude was giving me just that!

We have a little favorite place called Salt, by the beach, we go for dinner... Friday nights are kids nights with free face painting, bounce house, make your own pizzas and a playground!

Bali... A little holiday getaway (off our phones)

We headed to Bali, Indonesia for a little holiday, as they call it over here. We stayed at a beautiful Westin resort in Nusa Dua and were very glad we did. After the nightclub bombings a few years ago, the security greatly increased. The taxi was checked for bombs upon entering the city and we went through metal detectors at the resort. We felt very safe but knew we weren't going to venture out with two kids. Plus the traffic and construction made getting around very difficult. Not ideal for traveling in cars without carseats for kids. 

Taking off late Saturday evening... 

We swam each morning after a huge breakfast buffet that was wonderful. Two afternoons it rained during nap time...

Trystan took her morning nap in mommys arms in the pool each day... Heaven!

One afternoon we had the chance to hang out in a gazebo by the ocean... It was wonderful except it was 3 feet off the ground and no rails around it

Dinner at seafood restaurant by the ocean- Trystan playing peek a boo 

Celebrating Trystans 18mth bday at the hibachi grill. Before each meal they bring you a cucumber water cold towel and Trystan loves wiping her face too.  The people of Bali were over the top friendly and gracious. 

She grabbed a piece of salmon sushi roll off Brayden's plate and ate all of it. Looks like we have another sushi lover on our hands!

Driving to the airport I snapped a few pictures 

Danny got Trystan to sleep for her nap, ate lunch and then got Brayden to sleep on his lap... So a nap was due to him!
