We made our first trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine and really enjoyed it! This is a surprise treat for Brayden getting all green stickers for behavior this year at school and excellent grades.

The kids loved playing in the wolf den, Brayden slept there and Trystan on the mattress on the floor.

Their favorite part of the morning...racing down the really long hotel hallway

Brayden loved playing the interactive MagiQuest game each afternoon and evening

Brayden loved the body slides and did one of the tube rides with Mommy once

The last day he finally got under the big bucket and said it was OK

Happy 2 1/2 Year Birthday Trystan

Dearest Trystan...
How can you already be 2 1/2 and sometimes act like you are much older! Your personality is really shining through and we love it! You have the BEST faces for all different feelings and are starting to talk so much more.

You love to play with just about anything blocks, dolls, tea sets, outside "swinging" is your favorite place to be. You like to color and do play-doh but only for a few minutes. You ask to watch "Minnie" on tv but only sit for about 5 minutes of it. You like "Doc" McStuffins and "hee-haw" which is Sherriff Callie. "hee-haw" is also the animal noise you make for horses- it's hilarious!You are so proud of yourself that you can count to 10 and do it for just about everything. You know many animal noises, but "hee-haw" for a horse if your favorite and you can spot a horse before any of us do. You LOVE looking for "chug chug choo-choos" and "aplanes".

You have loved being in ballet/dance this semester and are finally opening up and going in all by yourself and confidently following the teachers directions. When asked to "dance" you will do your ballet pose. You will be trying gymnastics again next Fall when you also will start 2 yr old preschool at Southminster. You are VERY ready to go to school like Bubba does.

1/13 her favorite color to say is blue but sometimes everything is blue still

1/13 took her first dance class and loved it- with Ms Melissa at Sugarland Dance
3/15 can put her own shoes on and off with Velcro
4/28 climbed out of her crib at nap time
4/30 moved her crib mattress to the floor for sleeping

5/2 converted her bed to the full size big girl bed and is doing well
5/2 can clearly count to 10, knows her primary colors (including pink and purple) and main shapes

We love you VERY much and are blessed that God gave you to us. Continue growing and thriving and learning every day, our love. We love you! Mommy and Daddy
