Hurricane Harvey

Something we are still processing many years later...the trauma and PTSD of living through a hurricane that floods your home is unfathomable.

Story from my point of view to come soon...

The picture Danny took as the boats came in front of Gran and PawPaw's house to evacute us all when the water continued to rise.  The flood dam was opened on Lake Conroe and flooded the San Jacinto River (after the storm had passed).  Sienna was hit with a tornado that came very close to our backyard while we were evacuated and heeding the tornado warnings in closets.

Mom and Dad's home took on 11inches of water.  Thankful for insurance and the safety of all of us.

The outpouring of support from friends when we were safe and staying at Aunt Linda's house for a week before we could go back home.
