Birthday Boy!

Brady turned 4 on Sunday and was pretty excited about it. For his Birthday this year we decided to spend Sauturday at a Water park. Brady was excited for the Lazy River and Wave pool. We invited my parents, my Aunt & Uncle and family, and some friends from church. We all had a great time cooling off in the water, even Colin enjoyed the lazy river. Earlier this month I had asked Brady what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday and he told me he wanted doughnuts, so we stopped at a local donut shop on the way out of town. It was the perfect treat.

First day of School

Yesterday was Nathan's first day of 2nd Grade. He was super excited for school to start. He was happy that he got the teacher he wanted and his friends were in the same classroom as him. I was pretty surprised with how excited he was. I never hated school but I don't ever remember wanting summer to be over so I could go back. I hope he keeps up his love for school.

10months

Colin is now 10months. I am still trying to wrapped my head around the fact that in 2 months he will be a year old. At his last doctors appointment about two weeks ago he weighed 18lbs and was 30in long. This is longer then both my other boys at this age. He has officially reached the height max for his current car seat so it looks like I  am going to do some car seat rearranging earlier then expected. He is very active now and crawls and explores every where. Last week he was especially obsessed with the dog's water dish. Well, really he loves water in any form he can find it. We went swimming a couple times last week and he would try and throw his whole body into the water while I was holding him. He is still not a fan of eating food that requires chewing. It is kind of funny because he is always reaching for the food on my plate but the moment I let him have a bite he uses his tongue to spit it out. He is majorly teething right now, with at least two new teeth coming in. Which has made him extra cranky and needy. and has resulted in shorter nap times which makes life more difficult for everyone. But mostly he is still such a happy easy going baby who just wants to be a part of everyone's activities.

He was a little obsessed with the camera so in order to get any shots it required a lot of other distractions. The glowing light stick was his favorite.
