Easter 2017

Easter weekend is always busy for us. Saturday we joined Dave's family for the annual Easter party and egg hunt. Of course I didn't pull out my camera and get any pictures. Someday maybe soon I will find it not so hard to pull out my camera while I am chasing around my toddler.
But we had a great time enjoying an Easter lunch, playing with cousins in the bounce house, and of course hunting for eggs.

Sunday morning the boys woke up nice and early from sheer excitement that they had Easter baskets hidden somewhere in the house. And after interrupting my sleep several times I finally just got up and helped them find their goodies.

 After lunch we headed to Benicia for my families Easter dinner. Of course it was raining once again but that didn't stop the boys from having a blast. And they ended spending most of their time outside jumping on the trampoline and breaking long enough to go on an egg hunt. Luckily my mom was able to get some great shots from that day.

The rest of Easter break has been restful and easy. The boys ended up spending the past 3 days staying at Grandma Bell's house so that I could go in for a minor outpatient procedure(endometrial ablation) at the hospital and have time to recover without having to care for anyone. Everything went well and I actually feel pretty good.  It has been nice to have time for myself but also a little boring, it's definitely much too quiet here without kids and I have watched way too much TV.
