Every year on the first weekend in November we go to Apple Hill. We started this tradition 8 years ago when we fell in love with the trees, the apples, the fun, and the adventures. There are over 100 farms to visit, in a day we usually go to about 3 or 4, and we try to change it up.
Over the years we have seen the farms change, some for the good, others... well we would like to change them back.
Some years its been warm and sunny, others cold and wet... sometimes we go with friends, sometimes it just us.... No matter what the weather, who we are with, which farms we go to and whether there are wagons and a tire swing or NOT, it is always a great family day. We love it... This could very well have been our last time to be there with our whole family, so we treasured it. :)
This is one of the farms we rarely ever go to... too crowded for us... we like the less known sopts. But since it was a friday and we almost always go on a saturday, we decided to try it... it was still pretty crowded, but fun.
our group, minus me. :)
Bradley's art work tours were amazing! He had us all rolling.... he had the one you see titled, "Do you smell that?" His best one was, "Yep, that's my jugular." He is too funny.
Leah was happy that David was there!
And Spencer was happy that the pony was there!!! He was screaming in line, and most people thought he was afraid, but he just didnt want to wait for his ride... he was so cute once he got on the horse.
The hay maze is always a hoot for the younger crew.... last year Taylor and Bradley got kicked out of the maze... (along with some others) so this year they just waited... as you see below, waiting wasnt the most exciting part of the day!
More memories made...
oh, we didnt bring home any pies, no one is making the Apple-blueberry with sour cream... WHY???? It is AMAZING!
