At around 3am this morning, we hear Finn screaming and crying. Something about potty. First thought in my mind, "great, he wet the bed."
Apparently, he was dreaming.... a horrible dream. His green and blue shovel was in the potty.
Daddy: "Finn it's not in the potty."
Finn: "Where is it?
Daddy: "Probably out in your sandbox."
Finn: "Go get it."
Luckily Ben was able to get him to calm down and go to sleep without having to go out into the cold last night.

Ridley is mobile and upright..
In the last few weeks Ridley has grown up so much.

A tooth popping through on the bottom
Sitting up
Rolling and skooting all over place (no crawling)

"MAMAMAMAMA" I'm just beliving that he knows what he is saying. Because of course he knows who I am.

We have already starting to think about baby proofing. This kid is already getting into stuff!

Finn's Day
Driving home from grandmas house....
Finn: "Mom tell me what I did today."
Me: "I don't know what you did."
Finn: "Well, let's talk about it."
Me: "Um OK, what did you do today?"
Finn: "First we put Ridley to bed, then we played in the sandbox, then........"
Thank you Finn for reminding me to be a good mom and to ask about your day.

Finn Says: Uncle John
I haven't been updating, but some things are so funny you have to put them down in writing. I don't know how Finn comes up with half the things he says.
Finn was at my cousin's house being babysat on Tuesday. Here is the conversation:
Precia: Finn, so you have an uncle that lives with you?
Finn: No
Precia: I thought your daddy's brother lived in your basement?
Finn: Oh yeah, but sometimes he goes and sleeps upstairs with Mommy.

Ridley is 6 months old!
Ridley is 6 months. Absolutetly perfect.
18 pounds, 13 ounces - 85th percentile
27 inches long! - 80th percentile
And of couse, like with all my kids, his head size is off the charts!
Ridley can finally roll from front to back and back to front. But that is about as mobile as he can be. No Skooting or sitting yet. Just a matter of time though.
This baby is the most smiliest, happiest baby. Even right now, he has an ear infection and he is just as happy as he can be.
Ridley has been laughing out loud for a few months now. It's very contagious and hard not to be in the best mood around when around him.

Ben's Skating Injuries
Tonight Ben was showing Finn his scrape on his elbow he got skating.
Finn: "Dad, did you go to the zoo and get bitten by an alligator?"
Finn: "Dad, did you go to the zoo and get bitten by an alligator?"
Poor Ridley
Last week we went to a Christmas party at Gorgoza Sledding hill in Park City. The next day Finn was telling his teacher about the great time he had sledding.
Miss Bree: "Did Ridley go sledding too?"
Finn: "No, he stayed in the car."
Luckily the teacher realizes that not everything coming out of a three year old's mouth is the truth.

Ridley's 13 Week Milestones
This past week has been huge for Ridley. A few days ago he started laughing, not just a little sigh laugh, but really laughing. And he is VERY ticklish.
Then while doing some tummy time, which he hates, (don't all babies?) he rolled over! Several times. Once he did it once, it was so simple for him and he did it over and over again. We did get it on video, but we can't figure out how to get the video off Ben's iPhone, so it might not appear up here for awhile.
Yeah for milestones!

Finn answers a long standing mystery
Diania: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
Finn: "Three"
Finally, someone figured it out..

Ridley's Three Months
Here is our smiley three month old!

The last three months have flown by. Ridley is the cutest three month old. So smiley and happy. Most of the time. He still gives an hour or so a day of crying for no reason. But after being cuddled and loved he usually calms down.
He still hates baths. Finn loved the water and baths by this age. Ridley starts screaming before he even touches the water.
Ridley is getting so squishy and chubby. Best rolls on his legs, arms and neck. He is just so kissable.
Basically he just sits there and smiles most of the time. He can't do much else. We are trying to get him to roll over, but he hates tummy time so much and just cries and screams.

Hello?
I've been out of the blogging game for a while. I've been busy staring at a seriously cute baby. I'll be playing catch up over the next few days so bear with me.

Colorado / Oklahoma / Texas
Three weeks after Ridley was born, we packed up the family and headed to the Mid-West for some family time.
Road Trip!

First stop was Colorado with Marc and Aubri's family. We stayed at Uncle Gary's cabin for three nights. It was gorgeous up in the mountains. We rested, stayed up late talking, shopped, ate and played.
Here are a few shots from the Pirate Ship playground.

Next we headed to Bartlesville, OK to stay with Grammy (Ben's grandma) for a few days. Didn't do much, it was SO hot. But we had a great time bonding with family and showing off Ridley. One night we braved the heat and went to Kiddie Park for some sweet (and probably unsafe) rides.

And, the Tulsa Aquarium.

For the last leg of the trip, we hopped in the car again and drove down to Dallas, TX for a family reunion / Grammy's 90th Summer party. We played at Gary's beautiful house and kids (and grown ups) played all day in the pool. And, I don't think we ever stopped eating.
