Jayden's Tummy

Jayden's on a kick where it seems that his tummy rules his life. It seems to have its own needs, wishes, and wants, and expresses them to Jayden. These are some of my favorites:

"My tummy really needs to watch a show."
"My tummy needs to go play or its going to throw up." (said while he's doing his job)
"My tummy wants to read a book."

You get the picture.

Long Time...

Its amazing how little blogging gets done without pictures. I am finally convinced my camera is probably truely lost. I wonder if it might have gotten stolen from my car, or perhaps fallen out. I am more thinking that it was stolen, becuase I have my name and phone number written in magic marker on the case. So, if some innocent person found it, they would have called me. The good news about this all, is that Devon gave me a new one for my birthday. I have been saying how I would like to really learn how to use a nice camera, so Devon got me a Cannon Rebel for my birthday, and it is awesome. I haven't gotten around to taking many pictures with it yet, but the few random ones we have taken while playing with it have such awesome quality, so I am excited. I am still hoping that somehow my camera will turn up, and then I will have a small one to keep in the diaper bag, but if not, I guess we'll survive.

Dylan started Karate in January at an awesome academy. The instructors are constantly talking about discipline, self control, listening to your parents, keeping your room clean, etc. It is so positive and so much about good moral character. They also teach a lot of stranger safety. Dylan is loving it so far and I have been very impressed with everything. The funniest thing is Ethan. He must pick up on things quick. He will hold his hands up in a guarding stance and say "hi-ya." It is so cute, and I really need to get it on video tape, but who knows if I'll get around to that.

Hopefully soon I will get back in the swing of taking pictures. I think I have gotten out of the habit after not having one available for so long. And then maybe I'll have a few more posts again.

Now where did I put that?

I really am pretty good at keeping track of things, but when it comes to my camera, it seems that I am always misplacing it. There have been way too many times I have searched my house for days and weeks before I find that sneaky camera. I can't figure out what it is about it that makes me keep on losing it. Luckily I have never really truely lost my camera, I always have found it inside my house, but still it is pretty annoying. Right now I am on one of those searches. I remember last seeing it in the car, but I can't find it now. Did I bring it into the house? Who knows? All I know is that I hope I really didn't lose it this time. Fingers crossed.
