Can't get enough...

... of this baby's face! I just love this little guy!!

Austin is 10 1/2 months now, and he is just such a happy part of our family. He loves to smile and laugh. He loves to laugh along with whatever his brothers are laughing at. He loves peek-a-boo. He giggles uncontrollably when you kiss and tickle his neck. He has just learned to babble and loves to say "mamamamama." Smart kid - that's a great way to get brownie points. He will try to copy some of the things we say which makes us laugh. Funny thing is, he will not do "dadada" yet. Brownie points again. ;) Not that I have anything against him saying dada, its just that it seems dada is always the first word. I don't know that I would call mama his first word just yet, but he does seem to babble it when he is crying, so who knows.

Singing in the Rain

We have had some great summer rain storms these past few weeks with the monsoon weather and all. One day the kids were playing and I looked out the window to see them running back and forth from our house and back to the neighbor's house across the street in the DRENCHING rain. They were having so much fun. Isn't that what kids should be doing these days? Enough of the computer, tv, and wii... get out and have some fun!

Baseball

Dylan was so excited to play baseball for the first time this year. For his age-group our city does coach-pitch. He had so much fun learning the sport. The only bummer was that because they did games twice a week, there was only one practice...the whole season... so there wasn't as much improvement as there could have been. The bottomline was that it was fun.

Here the boys are waiting for the tour. Jayden has been giving some pretty good expressions for the camera lately.

We toured the Cliff Palace, and it was pretty cool. We were a little worried a bit of whether there would be too much cliffs and ladders for two adults with four little boys, but it wasn't a problem at all (I know some of the other tours would have been bad). To get out we did have to climb up 3 ladders that went up the face of the cliff (in the picture above the ladders were on the right side of the ruins - you can't really see it, but imagine ladders going straight up there), but you couldn't tell because the ladders were wedged between a crevice that went straight up the cliff, so you couldn't look to the side and see how high up you were. I was glad for that because I was a little nervous of what we would do if Dylan insisted he was to scared to do it.
