I Heart OurBestBites

Okay, so I know I have heard from a few people about Our Best Bites.  And after looking at their recipes on their blog... I am so excited to try all the yummy food.  I have never been much of a cook, I just haven't enjoyed it a whole lot.  Sure, I think I do an okay job.  My problem about being excited about cooking is the fact that I am not too excited to eat what I made.  Sure some things are really good to me, but you get tired of the "same old."  I don't know if its just the pictures or what, but I am excited to try some of these recipes.  I printed of several for our menu for this next week. I am excited to give them a try!!  Let me know if you already have some favorites of theirs, and what I should try next.

Ragnar

Devon ran the Ragnar Wasatch Back this year.  What a feat!  His team was made up of family, friends, family of friends, and friends of family.  He loved it apparently, because this next year the two of us are going to do it.  Goooo us!

Lauren's blessing day

We blessed Lauren today.  While everyone was at church (we are keeping her home from church until she is a bit bigger), I took a few pictures of her in her dress.  Of course Austin wanted to give her lotsa love.

 I love her little shoes, and I love the way she posed her legs for me to take some pictures of them.

 She was sleeping so peacefully before the blessing. I love her little pose with her hand by her head.  I also love the little pearl bracelet my neighbor gave her - they are real.

All the Priesthood holders who participated in the blessing, minus Uncle Jason who literally ran to head for the airport to catch a plane as soon as the blessing finished.  We are just glad Uncle Steve got there in time before Jason had to leave... barely.  We missed Uncle Tony entirely- he was out of town.
