Jayden's a Cub Scout!

Jayden just joined the Cub Scouts, and has already earned his Bobcat! This was his first Pack Meeting, and you can tell he had fun!

Jayden's Baptism

Jayden was baptized on January 5, 2013.  What a nice day it was!  He was so excited to be baptized, and so ready.  What a good young man he is turning into, and I am so happy to see the good choices he makes. He tries hard to do what is right, and is learning to follow the spirit.  

Jayden was baptized with Eden Jensen in our ward, so the program was shared.  Jayden really wanted TJ to say the opening prayer, which he did.  What a great example TJ has been to Jayden.  Grandma Kirk gave the talk on baptism.  For the musical number, Uncle Jon played the song, and the younger cousins sang "I Feel My Savior's Love."  Zane, Jayden's best friend came to see Jayden be baptized.  It was a special day, filled with so many people who love Jayden.

Snow + Four Wheeler's + Sleds = Fun

We had so much fun four wheeling in Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's field!  Its been such a fun tradition that we have tried to do each year.

Happy New Year

Party at the Gibsons!  We had lots of fun playing games, and spending time together with so many people we love.  Sometimes we celebrate the New Year with New York at 10 our time, but we didn't think about it until it was too late to gather so many people together (it takes a while with so many kids), so almost all the kids stayed up until the real New Year, and I was amazed all my kids made it.  That hasn't happened too often.  Lauren was really tired, though, and started to fall apart part way through the celebration. 

I was trying to get a picture of all the kids together, and that's when it really hit Lauren.  Notice the dramatic drop to the floor, face down.  Lol

Jayden, Dylan, and Ethan were still going strong after the celebration was done.  Some of the cousins were staying over for the night, so we decided to let them stay and play for a little bit, and then they could just go to sleep there.  Luckily we had them just come in their PJs, so they were all ready for a sleep over.  (Their first)  I hope they were good...
