The month before Ashlyn was born was spent cleaning, painting, decorating, and organizing Ashlyn's room. I love how the wall color turned out, and how the decorations look in her room. Her room is a little on the squishy side since we have her crib, dresser, swing, rocking chair, side table, and a queen bed in there. But, it all seems so necessary and helpful, so for now it will be okay. I just mostly stare at this corner of the room and enjoy it, since to me it is the cutest.
Here is Ashlyn at 2 days old (top and bottom pictures). First night at home and wearing a cute nightie. She is so tiny in her crib.
Three days old! How precious these first few days are. I found this cute little outfit and just had to buy it for her. Too bad she grew super fast and only wore it a few times before it was too small. Stop growing so fast!
Four days old, and getting lots of love from her brothers and sister.
Grandma Gibson had been dying to hold this sweet little baby. She came home from Africa with Grandpa when Ashlyn was 2 days old, but didn't dare hold her for a few days, just in case she brought anything with her. Ashlyn reached out and touched Grandma's face, which Grandma just loved! (5 days old)
At seven days old, she still gets lots of lovin' from her siblings. Austin and Lauren decided they like to read her stories.
