Devon and I took a dancing class. It was a lot of fun to get out and remember some of what I learned in a class I took in college. It was also fun to see how much Devon loves dancing. He would have the biggest smile on his face as we danced. We need to do this more!
I found Ashlyn up in her room trying to put on a dress herself for the first time. She did a pretty good job, but was upset at how she got herself stuck.
Austin and Lauren started being in a singing group. The both love to sing and dance, so I thought it would be great for them. Most the girls showed up in ballet clothes, so I took Lauren to get some too. She was beyond excited!
There was a super moon eclipse on Austin's birthday. We had already put the kids to bed before we really thought about it. I didn't realize how big of a deal it was to so many people until I heard all the conversations afterward and saw so many comments on Facebook. We did get Dylan out of bed to come look at it, so at least one of our kids got to see it. He really wanted to get a picture of it, but our phones and camera couldn't really get a good one of it. It was fun to see, though. The next day the other kids said they were hoping to see it because in Primary they talked about it that day. Oops!
Jayden got to spend a night at Clear Creek with the 5th grade. He had a lot of fun, but said the food was really gross and it was hard to sleep in the cabin because it was so noisy. Also, a stomach bug went around and quite a few people were throwing up. I'm glad he didn't get sick.
