So many wonderful things going on in our lives! I helped in Lauren's Kindergarten class making "gingerbread trees." Austin really wanted to come to help, but Mrs. Lindstrom let him make one too. She sure loves the kids and knows how to spoil them!
Dylan had a Jazz Band concert at the high school. Its always so hard to see him. He is on hte back row, 7 people from the right with his head just showing.
I "straightened" Ashlyn's hair because she saw me doing Lauren's This is as straight as it gets! She wanted me to take a picture. And then Lauren (ahem, I mean Miss Knight in Shining Armor) wanted in on the picture too.
Jayden, Ethan, Austin, and Lauren had the school Christmas Sing. All the other kids I recorded on the camcorder to try and get better video quality, so I didn't get pictures of them. When I got to Lauren, it just wouldn't work, so I switched to my phone, which let me take a picture of her cute class.
During Christmas Break we went to Classic Skating again so Ethan could try out his new rollerblades. I have been so surprised to see how much the kids love skating.
Grandma Gibson was sick through the holidays, having a really rough time. She was in the hospital the week between Christmas and New Years, and also for two days right before Christmas. Our typical New Years party didn't happen. So, we stayed home and had some fun as a family. I remembered about some foam covered glow sticks I bought probably 6 or 7 years ago. We pulled them out and had some sword fights, and then we started to play dodge ball in the dark with them. It was a lot of fun! We also played some games and watched some movies. After celebrating the New Year inside, Ethan had some sparklers for us to celebrate outside with. It was so nice of him to share with us!
