Inspiration
As of right now, there are many animal cruelty and abuse going on around the world and we think it is an important issue that should be raised with more awareness. Not many websites or programs are able to create an interactive game for young adults and of all ages that actually teaches them about these issues.
What it does
This is an interactive, maze, trivia game that has users answer questions regarding animal cruelty along the way. As the user travels through the maze, they will run into caged animals along the way. In order to free and rescue these animals, the user must answer a set of questions regarding animal abuse.
How we built it
With a team of four, we used another program called IntelliJ and we used mostly Java there to complete the code. The code is of course broken up into classes with one being a maze, one for the animals, one for the questions, one for the player, and etc.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some array list issues and also forming meaningful questions that require people to expand their knowledge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to finish a code that actually teaches people in a very interactive way. Despite the sad truth in the world, we were glad that everyone can have an interactive experience while learning real world issues that they may never know.
What we learned
We learned how to work well as a team and debug complex code.
What's next for 300Points
We will create more games with more educational bases like Kahoot, Wordle, schedule planners, inventory trackers, shopping lists, and more. We are the new future.
