Inspiration
This was built for Static Showdown 2016, which was the first virtual hackathon I participated in. I was mainly looking for a way to connect my hobbies and learning Angular.
What it does
It's a Todo-like application that allows users to add tennis scorecards and keep track of points.
How I built it
I spent time looking through examples and learning from them to build 40-love.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge was the score format. Tennis involves all sorts of different conditions for when a game is complete, when someone wins a match, etc.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud that I was able to learn and implement a technology in a short period of time.
What I learned
While I don't do much work with Angular or Firebase, this project gave me some exposure to them.
What's next for 40-love
Right now it's a fairly simple application. If I have time in the future, I'll implement 5 set matches, super tiebreaks, etc.
